The decisive thing is not the reality of the object, but the reality of the subjective factor, i.e. the primordial images, which in their totality represent a psychic mirror-world. It is a mirror, however, with the peculiar capacity of representing the present contents of consciousness not in their known and customary form but in a certain sense sub specie aeternitatis, somewhat as a million-year old consciousness might see them.

Contemporary art music that is actually listenable. "Tempus fugit" by Finnish composer Magnus Lindberg.

He uses computers to calculate the complex harmony. I like how his music has harmony that sounds good, even though it is far from any traditional harmony.

    Hmm...

I'm trying to force myself to listen to contemporary music. I want to get into it.

This is not bad. Sounds like electric circuits or something?

When neurotic, repressed sensation may cause this type to become compulsively tied to people, objects or activities that stir in them primitive sensations such as pleasure, pain or fear. The consequence of this can be phobias, hypochondriacal beliefs and a range of other compulsions.

I've never listened much to Sibelius, but I like the 5:th symphony so far.
