Knowledge about psychology changes your perspectives on things sometimes. Now, when I hear this song, I hear someone who is suffering in life without a sense of purpose (at least at the time it was written). It's just a chain of pessimistic thinking that's ultimately rooted in that.

this is probably the favorite song of my SEI mother. usually she listens to very boring country songs with conservative lyrics (although I'm not entirely sure if she pays attention to the lyrics or understands them), but this one I think is alright. I think the singer is an IEI.
