The Dune series is pure Ni, even the grammatical structure of Herbert's novels is a venture into introverted intuition. I have written about this at length over the years here. All the EIs show up in these novels.
Other Memory was used mainly as a source of knowledge, especially when much written history had been lost to time. It was only made available to an individual after they successfully converted an Awareness Spectrum Narcotic, usually the Spice. If they could not, they died.
