I found this yesterday. The famous intro song from Bach's St Matthew passion in 8-bit midi style. It sounds surprisingly good, especially when the vocals enter. It's like alien angels singing. And the 3D pianoroll makes it perfect. It almost becomes even more other-worldly because of the sterile computer sound. Beautiful.

yes these pictures go well with classical music somehow. Maybe it is the uploader who adds them, because his channel is full of them.

I like Prokofiev's 5:th very much. It's a different spirit.

I'm totally in love with this guy, he's like Johnny Cash mixed with Bauhaus, Joy Division and a bit of Marilyn Manson, and perhaps Type O Negative and it sounds so freaking perfect. When I first saw his profile on Spotify, I thought he looks a bit satanic but I thought it's just a dark gothic pose, but well... Apperantly he believes in luciferianism and he's rather serious about it, even in his songs. Well... God is dead...and if Satan exists he's definitely the more charismatic one of the two.

It feels liberating to listen to modern stuff like Bartók. The more I listen to this kind of music the more the traditional classical music feels too limited with it's melodies and harmonies. I can't claim to understand this music, but it speaks to me on some level. And maybe even changing my taste.

There's something therapeutic in the music. It tears down one's old conceptions of things, flushing the system.
