Mike Oldfield is one of my favorite artists since my childhood. His guitar skills and unique sound are underrated imho but his play influenced mine a lot. To me he's an unsung hero and musical genius. This song is not typical of his style but I enjoy the mixed feelings that it conveys. I love that feeling of nostalgia with a touch of hope in music (I'm not talking about the lyrics), it's one of my favorite musical mood.

I think the Cowboy this song is about is some kind of LSI H. I share it because I found the lines "God gave him his common sense" and "He may be wrong but he's still right" hilarious esp contrasted with to the title of the song : A Cowboy's born with a broken heart
"Before your throne I tread therewith"
2022 has been a sad year for me. I lost my Grandmother, an aunt and two uncles. The passing of Vangelis also broke my heart. May they all rest in peace.

Lack is the Muse of all Poets
Is he doing polyphonic splitting? It sounds like he is...
EDIT:
Nvm, it's a Mongolian throat splitting technique, which I guess is different.
