Starting out. I've been trying out Tunisian crochet recently for a scarf, you need hooks like those for it (and tremendous patience )

    Here is a tutorial.

That's impressive! You really got into it. Sometimes videos are better than patterns, perhaps you can learn the abbreviations or signs later. It can restrict creativity but improvising looks like a hot mess though If you get sc and dc down and decorate with picots or shells you're already half done I'm thinking. I like to experiment as well but I noticed how much the basics need to come first.

Sewing is also cool. This here seems like a very nice-looking and practical poncho to make, perfect for January/February weather.

I like how they make something similar to that out of a plain "large scarf", just requires one or two stitches.

I tried one with larger yarn and basic sc technique, halfway done but I don't like the shape how it turned out. It ended up too large, I wanted it compact so I can stack things without them cluttering around in there. I'll probably redo - but making bags is quite cool imo, I enjoy the process. Very practical and easy to crochet. Somewhere I saw someone make a bag from parcel twine, it's a good suggestion. It'll be stable I want to go for something like this:

With a pattern like that as the base

This is very pretty. Just one stitch you have to know and you can store eeeverything in there. Crochet baskets for the eye, they used t-shirt yarn and chunky wool:

Maybe you can carry this one without it deforming? They probably had a smaller hook to make it tighter, OR they blocked it

Finland Takes Olympic Chill To The Next Level: Team Knitting

"Finland has a tendency to beguile. Saunas are so important that both the president and prime minister keep official ones. The country has the
most heavy metal bands per capita. It's experimenting with a basic income. Its language has no future tense.
And in an unexpected moment during the weekend's Olympic slopestyle competition, the Nordic nation showed off another delightful quality: a passion for knitting."
