Katherine Fauvre actually wrote about what each type of romantic relationship each type prefers

SX/SP: needs intimate, exciting, secure bonds

SX/SO: needs close bonds with mate and personal group of friends

SO/SX: Needs friendly bonds with mate, groups of friends, and community at large

SO/SP: Needs friendship in relationship, wants mate to be best friend

SP/SX: Needs secure bond with mate that is attractive but brings security

SP/SO: Needs shared drive for security and shared group of friends

Just based on that short description I relate to several of these: sx/sp, sx/so and sp/sx

Personally speaking I do need to feel like I ‘belong’ to some group or other, though the need is only so as to fulfill my SX...that is, it’s not neurotic for me. To sx/sos this group or community can feel like a place where they can affect change in, bring in their personal signature, ideas, vision, imbue excitement and passion into this and hopefully make friends that like who you really are, or even better meet someone you could potentially consider for that sx-bond. To find someone to fulfill that SX bond is in the back of their mind constantly, they are consumed by it (all sx firsts), or at least I am and imagine others might be as well...everything else feels less important. At their healthiest sx/sos can probably ‘shine’ in a good way (I don’t mean it necessarily in a really bold way, but stand out even if shyly).
This might be different from how sx/sp approach things.

As for romantic relationships, they should be very similar...since they are both sx firsts. The difference would pop up with the second instinct, but that’s usually pushed to the background compared to the first one.
