Post Write Your Own Brief Self Type Description

If you're interested and have the time, write a brief description about how you would best describe your type in a generalized way that could include others. If another brief socionics or mbti portrait is a best fit for you already, you can go ahead and reference that instead. Maybe this will help others and yourself know, through comparisons etc, where you're coming from with your self-typing in relation to what you think your socionics type means wrt functions. There are still differences of opinion out there on what cognitive functions mean. If we don't get basic definitions right, there's kinda no point to any of it.

You can write a long one if you know it's pretty type consistent, if you want.

Each essence is a separate glass,
Through which Sun of Being’s Light is passed,
Each tinted fragment sparkles with the Sun,
A thousand colors, but the Light is One.

You can write keywords only if you like. Is there anything you find lacking in type descriptions about yourself?

For myself, the important keywords I would expect to see in a legit profile for my type, but unfortunately are not always represented, would be the following:

deep aesthetic ability and sensibilities, physical sensitivity, deeply emotional, highly sensual, calm with rare bouts of lively humor, imaginative, curious, truth-seeking researcher, contemplative, passive, inventive, down-to-earth, hopeful, compassionate, fairminded, helpful, gracious, logical, speculative, security-minded, comfort-oriented, nonathletic, freedom-loving, zany, nature loving, gentle, soft, kindhearted, altruistic, noncompetitive, peace-loving, interested in spirituality & esotericism, interested in culture studies, conscientious, self-starter, prefers to be independent or lead than be directed, common sense, principled, wise.

Ideally so, yet this is not always the case for all types.

    maybe.
But this thread is empty so most users seem to be okay with that. You'll probably get more engagement if you ask the opposite question: whether there are parts they don't identify with.

Nice Ne point. Others can feel free to comment on that note too of course.

I let my esfj sister compare us to each other and this is what she had to say

    -
    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
Enneagram 2w1sw(1w9) helps others to live up to their own standards of what a good person is and is very behind the scenes in the process.
    Tritype 1-2-6 stacking sp/sx

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

I'm a cruddy little market analyst.

Oh yeah, I don't have to. There's a video on it.

Figured it out. LIE. I'm extraverted, which is incredibly counter intuitive for a person who doesn't tend to go out much. Don't know how often I'll be on, but don't expect me to respond often. Only option I'm willing to debate is Si vs Ni right now. Mission accomplished.
