Very good question @lungs. There is more to everything in life, meanings have depth. Contraflow instinct stackings have an interesting balance: more radicalized stances toward the last instinct. All aspects are more polar. Note also the FLOW within it: SP-> SX- >SO-> SP and so on. It's about sequence. I can't stress this enough.
You saw it in the video, first it was about having resources (clay and color: red in particular - life blood).
After that, a fierce bond was created after the bodies were taken care of/made (heads stuck together, quasi-sexual act in the assembled clay and color).
Then, the people started dancing to the same sexually infused tune (ecstatic mob).
This hailed the self-pres rebirth (butterfly dame).
This is a contraflow saga. Instinct theory is genius, you can apply it so easily.
