Default Quiz: Where On Earth Should I Live?

The country of your destiny, or not? Curious what everybody here matches up with.

    https://www.arealme.com/country/en/

    What I got:

I like the result, matches my character. Buddhism/Spirituality, warm climate, the ocean, street food & neon night life sounds good. If I knew more (particularly the bad aspects, as any country has them) Bangkok or the south would really be a legit travel destination.

    Your result is:

    Turkey

From the dome-and-minaret skyline of Istanbul, to its coast-side Roman ruins, Turkey is enchanting. Its beaches are best May to October — try Patara, it’s outstanding. Look forward to hot sunshine, friendly locals and reasonable prices.

Not bad. Could be worse. I'd have to learn Spanish first, though (which I intended to do years ago).

This is interesting though! I recently saw a documentary about the country and it introduced quite a lot of ILE, SLI, and LIE entrepreneurs. Their law and social customs are so strict and ancient that people say it's challenging them to make innovations the indirect way, finding loop holes to censorship and regulations everywhere - cheating the system essentially, albeit slowly since the Saudis hate drastic changes. So SA is likely the country where ILE might not be best suited for but most needed in I could imagine that it's a classic supervision scenario.

    Brazil

Famous for its soccer and its Rio carnival, Brazil is the largest country in South America. Enjoy the bustle of São Paulo and the energy of Pernambuco, but remember the magnificent Amazon rainforest stands waiting.

I stole your answer, Chae... For some reason, I used to want to live in Sweden... France is also a really nice... Place.

    Your result is:

    South Korea

"Visit Seoul's imperial palaces; among them is Changdeokgung, where the past is entirely captivating. On Korea’s favourite Jeju Island, experience the eerie underground lava tubes. As for traditional cuisine, music and dance — it’s all joyously inescapable. "

    It's okay.

Bangkok is an extremely repetitive city (I know it pretty well) though. It's probably the best metropolis in SEA though. There is an island for everybody in Thailand but a lot of them are very full now because there's simply so much tourism from China.

Anyway I got Cyprus. But Cyprus is really not big enough for me to spend too long.

Yes, just like SKorea gets a lot of Chinese tourists in the South, the islands are popular. Do you know more about the rural areas upcountry?

True, a short adventure and you already know everything Feeling like Napoleon on Elba.

It depends what you want to know. Actually, there's something in Thailand for everyone, which is why it attracts so many tourists. Even these days it is not cheap, which it had the reputation for, it still attracts many.

Well quite. I feel like living in a city there is always something to explore that's new. You cannot conquer the place too quickly, or at all . . .

    Germany

Known for its precision engineering and industriousness, Germany is equally admired for its old-world charm. Of its historic cities, Munich is a must-see. And don’t miss Berlin, medieval Bremen, Hamburg, Cologne and the picturesque Rhineland.

Away from other people-said the introvert

    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
