As for the J-- I was referring to the fact that INFj's have exceptional intuitive capabilities and can understand the truth about a person or situation instinctively. (www.personalitypage.com/INFJ.html) Gandhi certainly had this capability.
I also think it's hilarious that you think I'm saying "everyone knows it" when you don't even have something to say. If you had a real point or even a statement addressing what you thought Gandhi was, perhaps with a reason, your argument might have a little weight, and you might be less of a hypocrite.

So you think a guy that frequently fasted for his religion and for his political statements, who forced himself not to eat meat despite, apparently, being tempted at a young age, a guy that essentially sacrificed his own earthly pleasures and health for greater goods was Si-dominant?

I'm not saying Si-dominants can't do that, but would any really want to do that to the extent that he did?

i know of no such separate essay and this typing to be honest is one that has always confused me a little bit, but it's not as though i've looked at it very thoroughly.

I think IEI makes sense, but I haven't paid much attention to him.

The problem with having him as ILE or any -valuing type is that he went out of his way to show a lack of concern for it.
