[Vespertine]

As my mind lays on ice,
tver thinner by the awakening of the song birds,
the monsters underneath shriek in sorrow,
to the end of their wrathful world of shadows.
I'm down for a dive.

Silvery cracklings,
fragments of cold bedding drifts,
tongues of flames through troubled water,
who knew fire could freeze?
I'm down for a dive.

The sky welcomes dusk as hero,
the frigid night instal itself in bitterness,
there is land for which preparation is never enough,
as time comes against.
Travelling back to the planning table.

Recklessness makes a roller coaster fall back,
it is without confidence that arrogance build itself,
mediocre replacement,
the land of angels is mere jinx of the false deity.
Wings will burn fast.

The fleeting spirit ends up facing itself in the firmness of ice,
the abyssal of the self in confrontation,
happenstance or synchronisity,
only one may tell.
I'm down for a dive.

thoughts
leaking through
this self
with a ragged roof shell


I was hoping for
only snow
in this self-inflicted
winter


another cave in
another
ship wreck


moth-eaten
and frayed
porous
and quenched
mermaid
in the murky
mist

Still tweaking this half finished poem:

I speak but my words dissipate before you can hear,
Out comes the emptiness inside me that I fear.
My heart doesn’t answer the line, it’s calloused,
Again my heart pines for illusions, it has no ballast.

And again I fell into a pit, grasping at the sides,
And in shouted whispers came the truth that guides.

Dark horse charges through to win the fight,
Charging through with all its might,

Soda pop frequencies elevate a flower
The rose crown spectra dice rolls fate
The lovely casino of empires orders blades
A star of dinosaur dimensions rampages blossoms
