    Default Member Questionnaire (Chacha)

    Member Questionnaire 1 (Chacha)
What is beauty? What is love?
Beauty is the characteristic of an object or person to convey positive aesthetical properties. In other words, it is something that create a sensation of pleasure and soothing. When you listen to a beautiful piece of music, or look at a beautiful person/drawing, your sense is overwhelmed by pleasure which is produced by this specific person/drawing. There are some objective criteria of beauty such as symmetry, golden ratio etc. But most of the time beauty is subjective: and everything can be beautiful if it fits your taste. Some may even find beauty in gore, disgusting and gross stuff…
Love is a feeling of proximity with a person. If we talk about family’s love, it is a link between you and family members. It is built overtime, and the more time you spend with those people the stronger it gets. Romantic love is similar, except that it is often mixed with lust: but also, a special feeling of love is generated by chemistry, attraction by the other sex and the instinct to find a partner (for reproduction).
What are your most important values?
My most important values are justice and freedom: I believe that fairness and justice is very important and that everybody have to pay the price of their mistakes and crimes. I feel kind of revolted when an unfair situation happens, and the worse is to feel powerless about it. That’s why I want to make sure that I will make my own justice myself, punish those who hurt me and reward those who help me. Because this is simply what they deserve.
Freedom is also very important, I think that one’s must look for freedom and fight for it. Of course, as we say in France, your freedom stops where others freedom begins. The best thing to do should be to make sure everybody is free to choose their path. Unfortunately, people tend to think that freedom is innate, while you have to fight very hard to get what you want.
Do you have any sort of spiritual/religious beliefs, and why do you hold (or don't) those beliefs in the first place?
Religion doesn’t make sense to me, therefore I’m not really think about it. I remain skeptical still, and am curious to see if religion can be right. But for now, only Science brings me recomfort and useful knowledge about the world. As I said though, I’m open to see if I’m wrong, but I would be surprised to see that.
Opinion on war and militaries? What is power to you?
My opinion? I don’t have an opinion. War is war. It is horrible but necessary. People are different and are conflicting a lot, for territory, resources, etc. The only way to claim your territory is to use force. All countries must be sure to have a strong army, in order to protect their borders and what belongs to them. I don’t think that attacking is a good idea, but being able to survive and protect yourself is crucial.
Power is associated to money: Power is the ability to affect the world, yourself and the environment. If you want to change the world, or build a tower, you need money for that. Money gives you the power to do what you want. In a sense, power is a way to be free and be an actor instead of spectator.
What have you had long conversations about? What are your interests? Why?
I rarely have long conversations. I used to have some friends and we were debating over subjects such as religion, psychology and stuff like that. If the conversations were long, it’s because my friend was very talkative and also had an opposite view compared to my own perspective. It felt like we didn’t really perceive the same thing, and each of our arguments didn’t make sense to the other.
Interested in health/medicine as a conversation topic? Are you focused on your body?
I’m interested in health: my parents are actually doctors and for me health is quite important. My worst nightmare would be to finish my life in a hospital. I’m not particularly sportive, but for me it is important to stay fit and have a functioning body. If a part of my body has a problem I get really anxious and it really ruins my mood. I also believe that food is very important, and eating healthy can positively impact your life. This will at the same time avoid any health problem, but also make you feel better in your body.
What do you think of daily chores?
This is stuff that has to be done. I tend to do them regularly, because if the house is too chaotic I tend to feel overwhelmed and not be able to figure out how to clean everything. So, most of the time I clean stuff right after using them. Otherwise I like shopping and buying food and stuff, it is quite relaxing and a nice routine.
Books or films you liked? Recently read/watched or otherwise. Examples welcome.
I didn’t read a book or watched a movie for a while. I must say that I liked “The Revenant”. I like the feeling of solitude that you can feel during all the movie, but also the determination of the main character to survive. This is really inspiring. The landscapes were also really beautiful.
Otherwise I’m also playing Dark Souls for similar reason: the feeling of intense loneliness, but also the challenge of bosses that requires a high determination.
What has made you cry? What has made you smile? Why?
Well I very rarely cry. I guess when bad stuff happens with my gf it can make me feel very depressed and I can do that, but most of the time I’m not really expressive.
Some people make me smile and I can’t really explain why, they are just funny and what they say is interesting. I also smile to people to be polite but that’s all.
Where do you feel: at one with the environment/a sense of belonging?
In my flat, or with my gf. There’s no better place than home, it feels so comfy and I feel like I’m being one with my environment. A lot of details have to be solved though: a chair that is not comfortable enough, items that are not accessible, a computer screen that is too high or too low. Working on those things is important to feel at one with home.
What have people seen as your weaknesses? What do you dislike about yourself?
My parents say that I’m not open to people, and some people said I’m too pessimistic about the world in general. Otherwise I didn’t get much feedback. I don’t like the fact that I’m unable to have fun I guess. I wish I was less serious and more laid back.
What have people seen as your strengths? What do you like about yourself?
I recently heard that I was knowledgeable and hard working. I guess what I like about myself is my ability to perceive and understand lot of things.
In what areas of your life would you like help?
I guess I would like help about managing my feelings. On my own I tend to be quite sad, and can’t really enjoy life. It feels like eating a tasteless apple. Only my girlfriend makes me feel joy and pleasure.
Ever feel stuck in a rut? If yes, describe the causes and your reaction to it.
I wish that I was stuck in a rut. Stability and routine is what I prefer. Stability and familiarity feels very good. Unfortunately, I’m traveling a lot in my life for work and various reasons.
What qualities do you most like and dislike in other people? What types do you get along with?
I hate lazy people mostly. I dislike disorganized people as well. I wish people could do their job properly and be responsible: the world would be a better place if it was the case. I like people who are thoughtful, responsible, hardworking and behaving well.
I have no idea about what types I get along with. I have good experiences with ILEs though. They are always interesting to talk to, and they always initiate interesting topics. Their lack of practicality can turn be off though.
How do you feel about romance/sex? What qualities do you want in a partner?
Romance is a very important thing to me, I feel like my gf is filling up that hole that I have in my heart. My best times and experiences in life were without a doubt those I lived with her. She makes my life worth living. Sex is good, it allows us to have a common activity, and we can also express affection with actions.
The most important quality for a partner, is loyalty imo. I don’t care much about physical appearance or personality, what matters more is that this person will stay with me and not betray me.
If you were to raise a child, what would be your main concerns, what measures would you take, and why?
I’m thinking mostly about how they would fit in society: I would be concerned about them being able to fit with their classmate, having friends, good marks etc… It would make me terribly sad if they suffer from rejection or failure. I would do my best to teach them how to behave properly, and have a positive mindset. And also, that they should eat healthy food to be healthy and have a god appearance. They should have a better life than mine.
A friend makes a claim that clashes with your current beliefs. What is your inward and outward reaction?
Well I don’t really care about our beliefs, what matters more is our facts, and if they are relevant. I hate uncertainty and I’m striving to get knowledge through facts and evidences. I may feel upset if someone is saying something that is wrong. I can be quite frustrated and will feel the urge to correct them and to show them evidences to show them why they are wrong.
Describe your relationship to society. How do you see people as a whole? What do you consider a prevalent social problem? Name one.
Society is various, you can find there great and terrible human beings. In general I believe that most people suck and are egoistic. It doesn’t really make me want to engage them, because I feel like people only do what is beneficial to them. Therefore, I don’t feel like being friendly to them since it would be so fake to do so.
Well, I can’t say that there is objectively a problem, people are all different and are supposed to have different talents and usefulness. However, I think that most people have evil intentions, and I do not really trust them. I guess I just wish the world was more secure, and that I could trust people more.
How do you choose your friends and how do you behave around them?
I do not really choose my friends, I just meet random people and some decide to be nicer and talk more to me. If i enjoy their presence I will accept and spend time with them. I do not act much different than usual with them, however as we know each other well it is easier for me to be myself and express what I think with them.
How do you behave around strangers?
I’m trying to be polite, but I remain distant. I don’t really like being involved with people and their circle of friends. I’m not an asshole though, I can be helpful or nice, I just don’t like much socializing.

If you bother/have time also take the "Hotelambush" questionnaire, it's the more accurate and revised one.

Thank you very much for your input. As requested I filled up this new Q, hoping it can help. Some questions were redundant though, and therefore I decided to skip them.

    ---------------------------

    Tell me about yourself.
Very vague question. I’m a 22 years old person living in France. I have an associate in IT, and am currently studying International Business. I’m a solitary otaku I guess.
What do you study or do for a living? How did you come to do that? What do you like or dislike about it?
Seems like I partially answered this question. I studied IT firstly because I used to make websites and games when i was very young, and as I always spent lot of time on my computer I thought that I should work in this area. After getting my diploma I was unemployed ans had trouble finding a job. I decided to get a Degree in Business in order to extend my abilities and have a higher chance to find a job. I don’t like or dislike it, I do it because I have to.

What are your values, and why?
As I said in the previous Q, Justice is very important to be. I think that being hardworking is important too, I believe that we should do our best in our life to be successful, and be a good person.

What else do you do on a daily basis? What are your interests and hobbies? Why do you do them?
Well I spend most of my time working. I spend the rest of the time with my SO, and taking care of our future. I like travelling, discovering new countries and cultures. I also like watching anime/shows, reading and learning about politics, science and philosophy. I do that because I want to understand the world and how it works. And I watch shows and play game mostly to kill time I guess.

Describe your relations with family and friends. What do you like and dislike about them?
I have the luck to have a very nice family. I appreciate the Fact that I can count on them and that we can help each other in a non-selfish way (Which is impossible with strangers). I don’t actually have friends because I spend too much time working, but i used to have some. I don’t necessarily dislike anything about my family.

What do you look for in friends? In romantic relationships?
Loyalty mostly. I don’t really have high expectations about people, as long as we spend good time together I’m ok with that.

What conflicts have you encountered recently with other people? Why did they happen? Which kinds seem to happen on a regular basis?
At work, I tend to conflict a lot with people during group projects. Most of the time I expect to get total control on the project and lead it. I know that I will sound like a dictator, but when people don’t know what to do I expect them to be obedient and follow my procedures and plans. If they don’t that make me quite upset. I often have trouble communicating with people and that causes issues. That is why I prefer solo work, I really do dislike teamwork.

How would your friends describe you?
I don’t really know, but my old friends said that I had a really good understanding about them and the world in general. They also think that I’m a very good partner and dependable friend. That’s just what they said, then who knows if it’s true or not.

What do people generally see as your strengths? What do you like about yourself?
What are your weaknesses? What criticism do you often face from others? What do you dislike about yourself?
I already answered those questions so I’m going to pass.

In what areas of life can you manage well on your own? In what areas of your life would you like help?
I believe I can manage anything on my own, I’ve always been an independent person and do not have any problem by living and doing stuff by myself. I travelled alone in foreign countries multiple time, and took care of stuff that way. As I said previously I struggle more with happiness, and I feel like I can’t really happy on my own. I really do need friends or people who can help me enjoy life.

What things do you find to be a chore? What things do you enjoy more than others?
Dealing with people is a pain in the ass. I especially hate to salute people at work, and avoid doing it even if it makes me look rude.
I enjoy being alone at home and resting, and doing my stuff, listening to music etc.… And spending time with my SO of course.

What goals, aspirations, or plans do you have for the future? How did you come to have them?
I will sound very boring but I only aspire to get a normal office job, and have a stable and safe routine. When I was in IT school it was like that and I absolutely loved it. It feels good to be in a familiar environment, doing stuff that you are comfortable doing etc.
Eventually I plan to live with my SO and found a family.

If you had enough money to live comfortably for the rest of your life without working, what would you do with your time?
I would still work to get more money, and to do something useful in my time. No really, I do not wish to have enough money to live comfortably until I die, that would be boring as fuck. And I would feel so bad about doing nothing. But I guess it would give me more time to spend with my SO, and to travel and explore different countries.

What traits do you find endearing that others might dislike? What traits are considered positive/neutral by others but tend to annoy you?
Sorry this question is very hard to answer to. I have no idea what an endearing trait could be. Maybe innocence? But everybody find it endearing as well so it doesn’t count.
Well otherwise I guess people tend to prefer loudest and attention seeking people, but they are rather annoying to me.

What kinds of things do you do to manage and/or beautify your environment (your room, your house, etc.)?
Ergonomic and cleanliness is very important: I try to make sure the flat is clean and there are not much disorganized items. Comfort is very important, as I said previously sitting in a chair for a long time can hurt, it must be comfortable, and allows you to have a good sight on your screen.
When it comes to decorate the environment, the best thing to do is to choose a set of colors and textures: For example, grey and red, and using mostly wood. This will bring harmony to the flat and give it a style. Moreover, I think that some aggressive colors shouldn’t be used in side: Red is good example, and any other flashy color. Imo you can either have a dark environment, using black / brown / grey, or a light one with lighter colors such as white /light grey /light blue/light green.

How do you behave around strangers?
How do you react to conflict? What do you do if somebody insults or attacks you?

    Answered to that already.

What is one common misconception that people have? Explain why it is wrong.
People have a serious problem about verifying information and being critical thinkers. I’m cringing so much when i see people sharing fake information on Facebook. They blindly believe it and can’t have a skeptical and methodical approach. Can you please check the sources of information? Look for evidences and proof. People are too easily tricked by what politicians say too, because they care more about their charisma than facts. This is such a sad world.

What did you do last Friday?
I was prolly doing some homework and chilling I guess, cause my day was off.

    What is your biggest accomplishment?
I didn’t accomplish anything special for now.

    What is something you regret?
Well I regret being too naive in the past, some people manipulated me and I was too naive to notice it or think that they were doing bad stuff to me. Otherwise I don’t have many regrets.

Who do you admire, and why?
I do not admire any person, I think.

What's been on your mind? Has anything been worrying or concerning you? What problems have you encountered lately?
I’m worrying a bit about my health, I’m feeling pain in some parts of my body and I’m hoping it’s nothing serious.

What are your religious or spiritual beliefs and why do you hold them?
    Already answered that.

What are your political beliefs, and why? To what extent do you care about politics?
Well my political positioning is rather on the center. I think that any sane person would be like that too. If you go full right or left I believe that your perception of reality is biased. I do care about politics, but unfortunately can’t find any politician that would be worthy enough. France will have elections soon and I will prolly not vote for anybody, cause all the options seem bad to me.

Would you ever be interested in starting a business? Why or why not? What role would you play in it? What kind of business would it be?
I personally would prefer to join a company rather than creating my own. But if in my life, I have to do that, I guess that I will. But it is very risky and I would have to invest money that could be lost. This is way too uncertain, and I would only do that if I have a lot of money and some great ideas to invest in. Well it could be any business, but I may have ideas about technology rather than any other area.

What kind of work environment do you prefer? What do you look for in a job?
I’m looking for a job where I could work alone. I prefer repetitive tasks, and dealing with numbers. I may try to look for a job in finance and banking. I used to have marketing and management lessons, and I must admit that dealing with people makes me very uncomfortable.

What is or was your favorite school subject and why?
History without a doubt, it is fascinating to understand why our world became the way it is now. I enjoy understanding how different countries evolved and what happened during those times. I wish I could learn more about other countries history, such as Asian countries, and i tend to read about it in my free time.

How do you approach responsibility? What do you tend to expect of others?
Responsibility is very important when it comes to serious tasks. When people depend on you, you cannot mess up and be a bother to the system. Taking responsibility is also a source of strength, I don’t like much when people flee away from their responsibilities and mistakes: You did it, you correct it. It is just being fair. Everything has a price, and I expect people to pay their price because I always do pay mine.

Where did you go on your most recent vacation? What did you do there? How did you like it and why?
I went to Hong Kong to visit my gf. I mostly visited the place, the city center, islands, and the country side. It was wonderful because I was with my SO, but I also liked the Asian culture, and the way people are civilized there. I love their way of thinking.

What were you like as a kid? How have you changed since you were a child?
A solitary kid playing videogames. I used to be warmer though, and naiver. I still had some faith in humanity I guess, and didn’t understand yet how the world really was. Now I’m much more realistic and cynical prolly.

What was your high school experience like?
Very boring, I just did what I had to do and go home to play video games. This was the worst time of my life for sure.

Talk about a significant event from your life.
Meeting my SO was the most important one. I’ve been able to feel joy since then.

Do you like kids? Why or why not?
I do not like kids because I don’t know how to react to them. They are very dumb, and feel uncomfortable interacting with them. I guess I would feel differently if it was my kid, but I dislike others kids.

If you were to raise a child, what would be your main concerns, what measures would you take, and why?
Ever feel stuck in a rut? If yes, describe the causes and your reaction to it.

How do you see other people as a whole? What do you consider a prevalent social problem? Name one.
    Already answered.

What do you do if you're not getting what you want? What approach do you use?
If I really want something I will keep trying until it works. That’s all. With good planning and enough money/time you can really achieve any non-fancy goal.

Are you comfortable taking leadership roles? In what areas? Why or why not?
Most of the time I prefer to follow and just do my job right, but if the leadership suck I will feel frustrated and will want to take it in order to plan the projects myself. I will only do it if necessary though, it takes so much energy to do that.

How often do you get angry? What kinds of things make you angry?
I’m generally calm but I can get angry if someone tries to be an obstacle to my goals. I do not like feeling powerless, and being dominated by others. I tend to be angry if I lose too.

What is the best thing that happened to you during the past week?
    Nothing really cool happened.

What is the worst thing that happened to you during the past week?
Group projects going bad, and conflicts within it.

What is the purpose of life? What do you find personally meaningful in life?
The purpose of life is to survive and reproduce. And trying to be happy until you die so that you can appreciate it a bit.

How do you dress or manage your appearance?
I wear what is appropriate: shirt or suit at work, elegant stuff when dating, comfy stuff at home.

    Do you like surprises?
    No.

Is there anything else important about you that we should know?
Nothing special, I said everything there.

Thank you @Chacha. Don't worry about the skipped parts, it already gives a good picture.

Yes, Gamma values really came out in the second questionnaire. Most devalued are and which points to ignoring and PoLR, so Gamma introtim. Given that / are confident and is handled with more insecurity (see business founding question), ESI is a good shot.

SX/SP as the stacking is definite. Enneagram 6, phobic, seems to be the core type.

I think we can ask an LIE about this. @Adam Strange what do you thnk?
