what intertype relation is this

hi, so i met this girl on a discord server half a year ago, and we've been friends ever since. we've been described as, "the best friend duo that everyone knows about, nobody really cares about, but still hangs around. some people low-key hate you because you seem shallow as fuck and can seemingly act like assholes at times." i was thinking duality or activation but i highly doubt either of us belongs to the Ij/Ej temperament so i guess that cancels out activation? nor do i believe that we experience the same perks that's expected in relations of duality, but i could be wrong. feel free to provide shallow typings, if you wish, so i can keep this thread on topic. maybe quadra values, too.

she's going to school for linguistics but she skips class a lot. she loves fashion and all things aesthetic. i don't do much of anything except laze around and read, but i always find creative ways to make money so it all works out in the end. we get bored extremely easily. we bond over our shared experiences with shitty friends, annoying parents, and awkward flings with boys, which is common practice for friends, i suppose, but it's not our preferred conversation topic. we love to gossip but we keep most of what we see/hear contained, it's more to satisfy our curiosity than to spread potentially untruthful information we caught ear of through the grapevine. we like to go on call together and play stupid games while we chat and laugh and eat junk food, but most of our interactions take place in big groups. it's more fun that way. she's upbeat and optimistic with a devil-may-care attitude, whereas i've probably got a "sharper" edge to me, while still remaining relatively lighthearted and playful on the surface.

i know, i know. we need to be institutionalized, but that's besides the point. i'm genuinely curious which intertype relation best represents our dynamic because the way our interactions play out intrigues me, and she's curious, too. thank you : D

i considered that but there doesn't seem to be a desire to teach. could we still be mirrors? i know that most of our interactions are based around us screwing around with each other and other people and sharing laughs along the way. it seems that we also have similar taste in books and movies. not sure if it'll help, but she usually scores ILE/ILI on socionics tests, but i know tests aren't the be-all, end-all.

that's the one thing thats weird to me too, but I feel like between those two types they almost have a special relationship where they're so good at getting along in public social settings that its like they meet halfway and don't extinguish eachother in the same way others might... now if they got married and lived together alone for a long time I bet it would come out. that's just my gut feeling on that pair. they're super gregarious together in my experience

Yeah that generally sounds like an Fe-based interaction (with some Se too). "A desire to teach" sounds like an overly specific description of Mirror but yes there is generally some desire to correct each other. But I wouldn't read into it too much.
