    Default Robot Vacuums

Does anyone use a robot vacuum? I am liking this idea a lot. On route to spiralizer reviews, I found these robot vacuum reviews...

I think they are so adorable. I didn't hear any complaints about them so far unless they work by day and you collide with them. Less of a good idea with kids and pets, could be a hit and miss there.

Yes those are pretty great You just have to programme them that they don't cut too much all the time. Some neighbours here have them swooshing around all the time. a) won't they enjoy their garden sometime? hehe b) charging that thing too much isn't really necessary and cost effective.

Yeah, I thought about that as well. And why are they not rectangle shaped anyway to get into the corners... hm. That part is very counter-intuitive.

I seen those that go to a charging station when low on battery, so you can basically leave it for the summer. Also it is set on a length that does not change? They are awesome! Garden time is harvesting the basil.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Wasting energy was what I meant. But the summer/length part is obviously very perky. Garden time is when you need Si gyah

I thought of that. But the reviews look really good in that respect. It might miss something one day but vacuuming everyday, they do get it all eventually. I really like the idea of having clean floors without having to clean them myself! For me its enough effort to keep the house picked up, stuff organized, meals planned and kitchen clean, bills paid, laundry (mostly my husband does laundry except for my picky stuff) and floors always come last - and they look it! Its the weak point of the housekeeping here. It seems we only clean them when visitors or guests are coming... so they are usually dirty and our feet show it. I would like my clean feet to stay clean. My husband is more inclined to sweep and vacuum than me, but not nearly so often as I'd like, so I am liking this.

In fact, we just had a talk about it, and I ordered it!!!

Ohimgosh, another thing to spend money on. This is going to scare my husband. However, I love the idea. But a lot of questions to research. We are on a hill, so I don't know if it works for hill people. What if it flips? With a sharp blade? I will heave to read on that...

Our lawn is pretty bumpy. It was established as a lawn about 100 years ago and I am sure it was never leveled since and probably only leveled in a very rudimentary way back then. Its surrounded by a lot of trees, so, it is pretty bumpy. I would not want to mow it. I have been thinking or researching how to level it. Maybe rent the equipment and DIY? My husband does all the mowing and I would not want to take it on. But what if I needed to take it on for awhile? I would rather know that I could do it, than have to hire if the need arose. That's why I was going to look into leveling it....

I think I am going to tell my husband about this "great new idea!" now just to get a rise out of him!

My husband asked about corners, too. But I know they edge, and if they skip corners that's easy enough to take care of going round with a wet towel...

I will soon find out anyway. I ordered it today. Can't wait!

    haha! ;p Poor guy!

But ya its great if you have large area and flat land. I guess, you should be consulting with some expert on the area before really considering getting one. If I only had a piece of land with grass, so I also could get one...

We love our Eufy. Its his second day here and he is a member of the family now. The plan was to run it while we sleep but we like having it around cleaning while we work or rest. When his battery gets low, the blue light turns red, and he starts heading back to his charging station, finds it, and plugs himself back in. The cats are not quite as enthusiastic about Eufy. They watch, crouched with wide pupils, from the front room which is one step down, which Eufy doesn't navigate yet...they probably just need a little more time. I love the clean floors! However, I have noticed its time to wet mop...

I can't imagine how we lived without this before. What was I thinking? I have a very nice vacuum, a Mieli, that is now relegated to book shelves, ceilings, and the car. A robo-vacuum is awesome. We love this. Its like we have this new, very busy member of the household. It reminds me of how toddlers are always busy, but, they are always making a mess, not cleaning one. We run it everyday, because we now have new, higher standards of what a clean floor it... All for under $200! So worth it!

P.S. The cats are no longer terrified, but they keep a nervous, watchful distance. Not yet like these cats:
