    Default Conflicting types and omnipotence

Are conflicting types omnipotent together (despite their incompatibility)?

Is omnipotence the biggest strength of conflicting relations?

Seems likely together they'd both have perspectives that the other is blind too...but I'm sure they'd keep those perspectives to themselves, scared of the other person making them feel dumb/uncool/evil/etc

Type is not capability. Type is what you do. Your conflicting partner acts to cancel out what you do simply on principle. Dual on the other hand same capabilities but acts to help you out.

Of course, for true omnipotence, just see ISTj

Hmm it's like Tezcatlipoca and Quetzalcoatl. I wonder if they were conflictors. Maybe that is what ripped them apart in the first place.

This is not so according to http://www.socionics.com/rel/cnf.htm which states:

... attempts to continue pushing their relationship any further will soon provoke an open conflict between the partners. When conflict starts, partners hit each other with arguments exactly in the direction where they can cause maximum pain. In return, the other partner may counterattack even more aggressively.

According to Socionics, type is to do with Information Metabolism.

Exactly. But you need to understand what Information Metabolism means

I understand what IM means, but I have never seen any socionics literature by a socionist stating that "type is what you do".

Hey, Smilingeyes, your Te is showing.
Binary or dichotomous systems, although regulated by a principle, are among the most artificial arrangements that have ever been invented. -- William Swainson, A Treatise on the Geography and Classification of Animals (1835)
