That's what I thought about as well... If we hypothetically place her there - SEE or ESI (NT can be excluded for sure), which one is more likely? That could say sth about Si or Se preference when she's SEI or ESE on the other hand.

She seems SF gamma, It's between ESI and SEE... There is a song I found 2 years of her that reminds me of SF gamma. I used to type this song as ENTJ in MBTI and I remember I found it very funny.

She doesn't have the more hollow kinesthetic of a SEE 3w4. She's too naturally authentic and not over-calibrating herself to any particular persona.

3w4s are also out of touch with the feeling center....the kinesthetic to look for presents differently.

She also doesn't have the hyper soft and sad expression in her eyes for a so/sx. She also doesn't have the splayed out kinesthetic for so/sx.

I have a similar reaction. Superficially she seems cool but whenever I listen to her music im like...meh. Feels stale and empty.

sp/sx slaps a more inward layer onto the SEE-Fi 2w3's outgoing, social drive for praise and approval.

at about the 2:00 mark she talks about needing praise and approval from the people she was working with. Per that and her physical expression, it's accurate to say that her motivation is to win people over. I'm not seeing the hollower, empty kinesthetic of SEE 3w4. Her self-exposition is too humble for the more arrogant, egotistical, and self-promoting type 3....not even the subtle bragging of the more efficient, haughty 3w4. At around 9:50, she's giving way too much credit to Brody Dalle in a way that a 3w4 wouldn't. She's an approval seeker and exudes a pretenatural child-like qualia. More a positive reframer than a competency triader.

Perhaps there is a confusion as to the differences in motivation between type 2 and type 3. But the motive to win people over is type 2, not type 3...in the centers of intelligence, type 2 overexpresses the feeling center, which means they are driven by seeking out validation/praise/approval from others. Type 3 is out of touch with the feeling center, and type four underexpresses the feeling center.

True that. I've watched some of her interviews, and she doesn't seem like I imagined an SEE would be. I heard that she wanted to create an image for every album (and I was basing my typing on that) so that was not her true self, but after reading some of her posts, my view of her completly changed...
She also reminds me of someone here on the forum (forgot their name) who self-typed as EII or IEE.

I'm between IEI or IEE for her, but I kinda lean much more toward IEE. She mentioned in one of her two interviews that her first two albums were more of a story and character she created more than her personality. She seems embarassed of all the Electra heart thing she created now because it was not herself, and this fact makes me think she's IEE more than IEI. In her album Froot, she wrote everything herself with the intention of being her true self, so we have some hints, for example in her song "Can't pin me down" she speaks about how she hates it when people judge people based on categories they belong to, she said "I'm a just girl in the 21st century" she doesn't want anyone to put her in a box, which I guess indicates IEE more than any type, like she wants to be understood and people to see her for her true self more than achieving fame/success or something else. She also looks high as heck all the time which indicates IEE haha (or intuitive lol). Also, I've noticed something about some I typed IEE, in their music, the song is often upbeat/sweet/lighthearted but underneath (lyrics) there is a serious/sad side to it. I'm not sure if it's charcteristic of IEE, but I have only seen it yet in IEEs and Marina music. And her interests are more NF, like psychology, writing, as she talks often in her music about human behavior. Something worth mentioning also, she said that her motivator of starting her career is to express ideas and sort her own thoughts. She also often laughs at her appearence in interviews, which is not SEE imo because they're pretty confident about it...

i thought IEI initially based off of lyrics and VI. looked closer, IEE makes sense too. my face would have been IEEfied due to interacting with my sister.
