I was hoping this thread was about the only Halsey who ever mattered.
6 SX/SO yes, maybe gut fix 9. ESI is a good bet
maybe so/sx 6w7, 638 tritype
Fleet Admiral William "Bill" (or "Bull") Halsey. Made a name for himself in WWII with the Battle of Guadalcanal and the Solomon Islands campaign. His flagship was the USS Enterprise, a Yorktown-class aircraft carrier, the most decorated and accomplished of any US Navy vessel in the war.
The admiral is of course a Beta ST. All I can say about the singer is that I despise her music, and thus by extension the woman herself.
If only. The USS Enterprise (CV-6) was actually the seventh vessel to bear the name. By the time Star Trek was airing on television, there was already another supercarrier named USS Enterprise (CVN-65), the only ship of her class. She was in service from 1961 until 2012, and decommissioned only last month.
The next Enterprise will be a Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carrier, CVN-80.
she kind of has SEI face especially in that middle vid
She reminds me of Talulah Riley, IEI-Fe sp/sx-9w8, FKA twigs sp/sx-9w8, and Dita von Teese, typed as IEI sp/sx back in the day.
I would say they share the sp/sx 'decadent' strong sx subtype in common and she might be a 9w8 - some sleepiness there. Not sure about socionics type but she does seem F-something and SEE is believable.
I hate Halsey’s annoying voice. I think she identifies as bi because it’s trendy and tries way too hard to be sexually provocative. SEE 3w4.
Heard the first three lines of Bad Love and thought, "ISFP". Without me also sounds odd to me, where she goes:
"Found you when your heart was broke
I filled your cup until it overflowed
Took it so far to keep you close (Keep you close)
I was afraid to leave you on your own"
Caregivering, probably her dickhead ENTP dual, and:
Tell me how's it feel sittin' up there
Feeling so high but too far away to hold me
You know I'm the one who put you up there
Name in the sky
Does it ever get lonely?
Sounds like an ambitious INTJ. I like her music but can't watch her videos, they're too 'sexy' (Fe) for me.
Hard to say to what extent those lyrics are her own since that song was written by eight people although there are similarities to the lyrics of her two albums where she used a lot fewer co-writers so maybe the seven others were more involved in the musical components than the lyrics.

Se ego, probably SEE
I did type her ESI so farSexual/Social
The counterphobic stance of the sexual Six can be seen in competition for attracting the right mate, and in testing to see who is worthy of trust. This is true of both sexual subtypes and especially true of the sexual/social. This type is likely to be found quite commonly among actresses and actors as they tend towards a dramatic presentation. Their need to be identified with their desirability and their strong social instinct, combine to sometimes make them public figures. They are less possessive of their mates, but still feel the need to have control in the relationship. They can have a very focused intensity. They can appear Four-like in their desire to express themselves and give into their passions. They define themselves in accordance with the prevailing gender norms opting to appear masculine or feminine as the case may be. This outward energy is sometimes counterbalanced with inward doubting, which can lead to depression, anger, and acting out, at the lower levels of health.
Anxiety isn’t as noticeable with the sexual variant of type Six, especially when the self-pres instinct is last. The typical things we associate with anxiety aren’t obvious with this subtype. Their anxiety is focused in the arena of relationships, and since their stance is mostly counterphobic, anxiety is not always obvious, and the Six too might be unaware of its presence. This can be true of all the subtypes of type Six. Their anxiety exists at a core level so that Sixes don’t always know how to gauge its existence. So, even the more visibly anxious subtypes might not be aware of their underlying anxiety. The sexual/social can appear Eight-like, in their defense of their loved ones and social standing.
I like how she ignores her fans, but then publicly chastizes them for writing bad stuff about her, all the while playing victim. That is pretty annoying. Suggests Fe, chastizing the fairness of it from her point of view (Ti), all the while ignoring the logic of her actions (Te) and how that effects the Fi of her fans. She also seems sensing focused; a lot of her lyrics and music videos involve lots of Se from what I can see. She's an SF imo and seems like an extrovert. Not sure on whether SEE or ESE. I'm leaning ESE because she seems more judgement focused in the interviews.
Definitely SO/SP try-hard pretentiousness. Probably 6w7. Alpha Quadra, as much as it pains me to say. I actually think ILE (Ne sub), which pains me even more.
I don't really like her style. It's so Hollywood and fake or something in this really banal way. I often am usually tolerant of banal Hollywood music but not hers for some reason. All her music sounded like it was just nothing against my ears- like she wasn't even there. It felt completely and totally dead inside, like she's just another soulless Illuminati Puppet. She said she wants to make people feel things but the aesthetic and raw vibration behind everything she does just makes me feel nothing but numbness and 'get her away from me plz.' All her songs also sound the same, like this dead cat trying to feel something but it can't- because it's dead.
Sorry if that's harsh- but lol.
Also her journey of 'I was tired of being co-dependent so I decided to be completely narcissistic and selfish instead and it's working great for me' is really tiresome and typical and not very inspiring or deep or interesting or moving at all.
Can we kill her in an Adventures story? pleeeeeeeeaaaaaasseeee.
She is definitely the same type as myself!

@flames
I thought you were going to chew my ass out for disrespecting your diva.
Yeah some of her aesthetics I kinda like but the actual feel of her music is too shallow. Feels like too lightly caressing my ear when you need to jam it in harder. I usually like mainstream "gay" music but not hers.
I think she is fake Gamma Fe. But these lyrics are pornography to any EIE’s ears:
“They send me away to find them a fortune
A chest filled with diamonds and gold
The house was awake, the shadows and monsters
The hallways, they echoed and groaned
I sat alone, in bed till the morning
I'm crying, "They're coming for me"
And I tried to hold these secrets inside me
My mind's like a deadly disease
I'm bigger than my body
I'm colder than this home
I'm meaner than my demons
I'm bigger than these bones
And all the kids cried out, "Please stop, you're scaring me"
I can't help this awful energy
God damn right, you should be scared of me
Who is in control?
I paced around for hours on empty
I jumped at the slightest of sounds
And I couldn't stand the person inside me
I turned all the mirrors around“
Fe-Se fantasy~

EIE
I think she is a Gamma SF.
The Barnum or Forer effect is the tendency for people to judge that general, universally valid statements about personality are actually specific descriptions of their own personalities. A "universally valid" statement is one that is true of everyone—or, more likely, nearly everyone. It is not known why people tend to make such misjudgments, but the effect has been experimentally reproduced.
The psychologist Paul Meehl named this fallacy "the P.T. Barnum effect" because Barnum built his circus and dime museum on the principle of having something for everyone. It is also called "the Forer effect" after its discoverer, the psychologist Bertram R. Forer, who modestly dubbed it "the fallacy of personal validation".

What about her latest album (“If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power”)? It gives me major EIE vibes, not only the tile.
