What do you do with the new information that goes against your viewpoint though.
That is, describing how you integrate it would say more on your thought processes.
If you dislike details and instead focus on the bigger picture always, you are N type.Furthermore, I don't like ambiguity because its not definite, so its hard to make sense of it. That's why socionics, mbti, and enneagram types are hard to figure out because there usually isn't alot of concrete example of how the information elements/functions behave. I see myself using Ni at times too, especially when it comes to predicting something unconsciously, ie. I had a gut feeling that Trump was going to win the presidency from the very beginning, but I could never pinpoint to why I believed he would. For hidden agendas, I relate to LIE Se hidden agenda, but that could just be down to my enneagram type. I do dislike details and favor a bigger picture view of everything, but at the same time alot of my decisions are short -intermediate term with immediate results. If I don't get immediate results I usually end up dropping it or getting fustrated. If I ever make a long term plan, it usually does not go as planned, because I get impulsive.
For example if I were to hold a specific ideology in politics and I was confronted with reasoning or evidence that contradicted my viewpoint, then I would slowly being to accept it and discard my previous ideological beliefs.
I try to have a global view on things, but at times I can get bogged down in details depending on how necessary or interesting something is to me.
@Saiko124 - well up to you to do more research and introspection to see if you are LSI or gamma NT. Your last answer here still has me lean towards gamma NT for you (with LIE more likely over ILI).
@Myst
I read through the information elements on sociotype.com and from DarkAngelFireWolf69 and I relate more to LSI than LIE/ILI. Thanks for your help!
You kind of sound like me... so I guess you could be a Beta.
And yeah, I know what you mean by being interested in power dynamics in politics. Who holds power over whom? Who exercises power? I guess those are mainly Beta interests.
