Default A new type of socionics? [related to computer science]

    this book: https://books.google.ch/books?id=xjX...AJ&redir_esc=y
"Scalability of Complex Social Systems" by Klaus Fischer has been a question for me for some time. i read abit of it but it is not related to socionics (the personality theory) at all. Does any of you have an idea of what this German research is and why it is called Socionics and wether it is related to the personality theory or not?
It is also a quite expensive and heavy book to buy and read as a side project.

    From German Wikipedia:

    https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sozionik_(Informatik)

Sociology (comment on translation: actual transl. should be "Socionics") (Computer Science)
The term soczionics is a word creation from sociology and computer science. In the 21st century, the social and technical world are mixed to form a new research area, which is being researched by sociology.

    sources include:

    • Klaus Fischer, Michael Florian, Thomas Malsch (Hg.): Socionics. Scalability of Complex Social Systems. Springer, Berlin 2005, ISBN 3-540-30707-9
