    Default My enneagram type

I want to be typed in this forum as well. In the past I (have been) typed as 5w6 6w5 9w8 9w1 8w9 1w9 7w8 7w6 . Personally I believe enneagram is worthless in terms of improving yourself because the risk of latching on to your "identity" and getting stuck in shit but i think it has some merit for categorizing people and I wonder in which category most people will see me so that I can change it.

Basicly, I was always smart and unsocial until my early twenties. I was beligrent and rude at times but I think it was because I didnt get much attention and sugar coating in socail circles like the one I got from my family which made me feel entittled. I was spoiled and almost everything was served to me without working hard (prince syndrome?) . I acted out or just stopped talking to that particular group of people when sth made me upset as a result, I almost dont have any friends right now. I looked down on romantic relationships, love, romanticism and other emotional crap and make fun of people who whine about their ex's and melancholy . I dont have a criminal record. At unknown social situations, I usually feel uptight which makes either critical, belligrent or just stay in the shadows. I hate injustice or someone gettign away with sth. I had an unhealthy obsession with "revenge" petty stuff like someone stepped on my feet accidently and like 1 month later I just shove them from stairs or hit them as an "accident". I could never forgive people who did me wrong in some way. Still I didnt really wish anyone would suffer or go through bad stuff, I liked most people (much better from a distance). Anyway, I think got over most of my retarded and stupid obsessions and shitty behaviour (I hope so).
I dont always voice my opinion or what I want, I expect other people to know and act accordingly (bad habit from family I guess) which makes me think if I'm 9, I also like to be educated and in theories or getting knowledge which are more 5-6 area. Still, I tended to be known for my anger and lashing out and unresponsible fun seeking behaviour and hasing the "shiny" and when I compare myself to others, I think I'm fairly confident/assertive. I think I have very high standarts for myself which makes identify with 5-6-9 when I cant be on top of all . Instinct wise, I'm really disgusted by SX first people, I guess I'm sp/so but without that much So. I think I can be some sorta 1w2 overall lol but I'd welcome your comment if you try not to ask "deep introspective" questions. Because I think I got a Panic Attack when I tried to look inside me at some point lol so yeah better keep it light and sunny.

So what else you need ? Pls only short questionarres.

    I think you are Sp/Sx 6, maybe w7.

You've got a counterphobic streak, you don't care as much for romantic relationships like SX first would, and you are obviously SO blindspot.

This sounded pretty 6w7 in particular:
"I think I got a Panic Attack when I tried to look inside me at some point lol so yeah better keep it light and sunny."
I think you being Ti ego (LSI in particular, you may disagree) makes you being able relate to Type 5, but you aren't actually Type 5.
(The Type 5 descriptions are all very Ti focused, for Type 5s are IxTx .)

    Self-pres/sexual 6

This type shares with the self-pres/social stacking the need to keep their environment in order. They also can appear One-like in that way. The differences revolve around the fact that they find their security more in their ability to attract a mate. They are concerned about how they are seen sexually. Their alliances to groups and authority can be quite conflicting. With the social instinct last in their stacking, this subtype can have a natural distrust of the social dynamic, especially when they fear it threatens their self-preservational concerns. The stance with regards to political or social concerns can vary wildly within this subtype. The self-pres is looking for safety and alliances with others, usually in a “going towards” fashion, but at the same time, the more assertive energy of the sexual instinct can manifest in a more counterphobic stance.

Their intimates are very important. Their issues with security are focused on their loved ones; their anxiety is closely tied to the pulse and feedback of the people closest to them. They are less outwardly fearful than the self-pres/social. While mainly phobic, their counterphobic nature shows in their sense of fun. They are drawn to intensity, and are likely to overcome fear in order to engage in adventures.(This is especially true with the Seven wing.)

My impression is sp/so, and either 6,7,8 or 9
umm why do you not like to look inside of yourself? (i know this is not what you wanted, but then why do you want to know your enneagram type if you don't want to look inside yourself? contradictive as fuck impossible to know your type if you dont look inside yourself)

Why obviousy So blind spot? I choose 5 at first not because I think all the time but the book was giving an example of a Roman Emperor who liked to watch his prisoners getting tortured and that was the most relatable example, lol. I wouldnt say I particularly relate to 5 in other ways. However, same goes for 6; I'm commented on being chill and not worried wayy more than people think I'm nervous. Also, I really doubt I look for security in alliances or food or whatever, I simply try to take care of myself beause I want to live forever, I think, there are lots of interesting stuff to do here. I didnt see much of myself in that 6w7 description btw.

I dont think its very funny. I explained why I wanted to know my Enneagram. Actually its not knowing my enneagram but what people thik of me as ? Coz usually I have a hard time knowing where I'm at with people or how do they see me ? But I'm interested.
So this is definitely not a soul searching journey for me.

I argue that first quote is a reulst of Sx last. Not having friends doesnt mean I'm alone, in fact, I can fairly get into groups just with a bit of distance which I expect from So middle people.

The second situation applies to %95 of introverts in my estimations.

I've never known anyone with SO second who had no friends. They usually have had good or close friends for several years.
My Sp/So father has had the same friends for decades. He still meets up with certain friends at least once each week.
SO second people don't really care about keeping some kind of distance to people, generally speaking.
Also, I don't see how being SX last has anything to do with not having friends or avoiding people?

The stereotypical introvert is SO blindspot, so no wonder you'd get that impression.
Introverts who aren't SO blindspot often get mistaken for extroverts, and vice versa, SO blindspot extroverts often feel like they are introverted.
The desire to be sociable is often mistaken for extroversion, when it is actually primarily SO instinct related.

P.S: I am deducing a certain "lone wolf" attitude from your descriptions, which is also much more characteristic of Sp/Sx than Sp/So.

I'm not convinced, I know lots of introverts who are always hanging out with poeople/groups/student clubs which I think more to do with So in stacking and they are still anxious in unfamiliar places/people. You are So first, do people think of you as extrovert ?

Edit: No Sx last is not about avoiding people. But not caring for close relationships/intimacy/adventures/drugs are.
I'm not asocial, I just hate intimacy, which is largely about Sx. I also remember taking the instincst test, I got 1 for Sx 13 for So and 29 for Sp.

SO last would not even consider social impact in the first place. At the most basic level, we have only two things in out brain: SEEEX mating/intense connection + material life. Society, friends, "people", comparison? Pretty much a neglected area, not much thought going into that unless it serves the first instincts. Example: I only got interested in activism when I discovered how oppressive systems (race, gender, age, class) posed dangers/limits to my dating life, safety and future. SO serving SX+SP.

Doesn't seem to be the case here, affiliative SO thought is attended to.
