Arrow Subtype theory in relationship preferences

Do you guys think that the subtype theory might have a strong influence on the preferred subtype of our duals?

Being an unhealthy ILE-Ti myself, I dislike some minor things about my SEI-Si duals, such as treating me like a child with a patronizing, I-know-it-all tone. I love everything about my SEI-Fe duals and ESEs (but we sometimes make too crazy of a team with the latter so it depends ). The thing I like about SEI-Fe's is that they are more likely to play along with my crazy ideas and jokes, instead of focusing on making sure that I don't hurt myself (I that caring vibe, but not at the expense of having fun). Can an increased preference for Fe from a Ti subtype be that strong? I grew up in a very Gamma/Beta environment though so it might be a result of being a bit ashamed of some of my ILE weaknesses. (Being "raised" by an ESI mother [my lucky LxE brother didn't mind] and other pleasant experiences )

    I'm not a LII.

    Does anyone relate?

Okay, I've realized that I might have mistyped the "SEI-Si" I was talking about. She may actually be IEE-Fi. The question remains the same though

Did you mean to ask if your subtype affects which subtype of your dual that you prefer? If so, I think the answer is Yes.

SEI subtypes seem as different to me as night and day. @silke said in chat:
: SEI's they are either very normal/witty/dynamic (Fe subtype) or kind of laggish, intelligent, and sensual (the Si subtype)

As for me, I find there to be a big, big difference in how I perceive the different subtypes of my ESI duals.

No sorry to be so short but I'm not a believer in subtypes because if you can have two for each might as well have billions since no two people ever twins experience different perceptions

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Here are the ILE and SEI subypes according to the Inert/Contact subtype system. The +elements are stronger and the -elements are weaker in relation to the other subtype.

    Contact | Inert | Inert | Contact
    ILE-Ti | ILE-Ne | SEI-Si | SEI-Fe
    -Ne +Ti | +Ne -Ti |+Si -Fe | -Si +Fe
    -Fe +Si | +Fe -Si |+Ti -Ne | -Ti +Ne
    -Fi +Se | +Fi -Se |+Te -Ni | -Te +Ni
    -Ni +Te | +Ni -Te | +Se -Fi | -Se +Fi

(Here is a link to an article where this is better formatted) http://www.the16types.info/vbulletin...Meged-Ovcharov

Two contact subtypes (or two inert subtypes) are a better "match" because they have the opposite + and - elements, so they balance each other out.
For example, an ILE-Ti who has relatively stronger Si would be more attracted to an SEI-Fe, whose Si isn't as overbearing as an SEI-Si.
If your subtype is strong enough, it is possible that a ESE-Fe would be a better "match" than an SEI-Si.

    Thumbs up Thank you.

Thank you. Yes, I was indeed asking if your subtype affects strongly which subtype of your dual that you prefer. I've submitted this when I was very loaded with Fe (is that a new euphemism for stimulants), so it might be a bit chaotic
