Was watching a movie with him in it and the whole time I kept thinking how much he reminds me of Tommy Lee Jones. Could they be the same type?

Seems Delta ST to me
Interview's all over the place, whew. I saw some Fe in here (it's more emotional, it's funny, he can be very funny, etc):
Same here.
Def more to the Beta side (talks about power, brute force, Ni is also there with the Marvel storytelling, but extro functions prevail, even some Ne in there). It's why he makes a good Thanos
The reason why the Avengers were so successful might (!), among financial factors, also be contributed to how literally typecast the actors are. It's incredible.
Tom Hiddleston is NF like Loki, Hemsworth/ ScarJo/ Saldana are a S types, Evans and Pratt have strong ethics, Benedict Cumberbatch is an intuitive like Dr. Strange, Tom Holland has strong Ne and the friendly neighbourhood spider ethics (Zendaya is so lucky), and RDJ is basically a carbon copy extrovert of Tony Stark IRL especially enneagram-wise.
Marvel has the Beta villain down to a T. Ronan is LSI like Thanos, Loki NiFe, Hela/Killmonger also Se valuing extroverts. You can almost always predict that the actors are pretty close to that.
Omg. He is the older brother in The Goonies! Brand! I didn’t even realize.
Anyway, I think he is possibly LSE or LIE
He has one of the most masculine faces I've seen.
Anyways, delta ST.
seems super parental in vibes. dunno.
LSE
Josh Brolin - Introverted
This is the comment you are looking for
He’s Beta, SLE. He has some decent Fe by telling lively stories, PoLR Fi evident when he begins by talking about how people judged him and explained the world of actors as they’re misunderstood (valued Fe as in associating with those like him in groups) and he talks a lot of having persistence and being realistic (Se) as his main thing “there’s something with just banging away with the knowledge that it may never happen” as to why he stuck with acting when he admitted that he sucked early on and got a lot of rejection. He said “you either do it or you don’t” as his general view (SLE have simplified absolute views which is Se+Ti) and doesn’t ever talk about the process, only the results (strong but unvalued Te).
At 44:30 he talks about people who don’t have a realistic evaluation of their power and saying he’s scared of such people because they don’t understand why they’re not as powerful as they believe themselves to be and those people get bitter (Fi PoLR). He does value and lead with with Se, he’s been keenly aware of the power structures and hierarchies within Hollywood and he knows the players, knows how people play, and he’s played well.
