Default Examples of different Enneagram types?

The biggest issue with enneagram is that there are no examples to type by. I have (lots of!) certain people whose motivations etc. I relate to, but I don't know their types either! Famous people and characters seem to get more or less completely random types to be honest, and some seem really wrong as well. So all we have to type by are either stereotypes or vague descriptions.

I agree, good point :/ I have a "pseudo"-benchmark list here: http://stackemup.livejournal.com. Should be taken with a grain of salt but it's still very impressive

The awesome feature is that they have video links and instinct categories to go by. Everything's neatly organized coherently. Satisfying that Ti-seeking shall we <3

What are some of the people that you're identifying with?

the problem with this list for me is that there somevery obvious mistypes, which doesn't make it easier to get a grasp on the core characteristics of the different enneagram types.
