    Of course, I would disagree with that. At least, it's worth looking into.

    You sound like Middle Age Christianity low-key impacts your views, "you can't buy a house in heaven". Also, your PoLR is showing, what if engaging in the hustle is the exact personality feat required to build a foundation for being benefitted in the hereafter?
    That is true -- provided that the wealth is used for God's sake.

    No afterlife, I have a hard time even picturing it. I think living forever is a horrible curse....

    I've noticed that I always feel a sense of natural relief when things get cancelled (or they end) ... it's just one less thing to worry/care about. Although I might be in temporary pain and wish for life to go on.... once I'm gone there just won't be anything and I think in this strange spiritual way- that is actually the most perfect Heaven there is. Nothing-ness gets a bad rap, like in this bad Angel episode they said the most evil thing there was 'nothing' which is dumb and not true. The most evil thing is torture with a lot of substance. (like cutting off ur children's toes and making you eat it and shit like that) Also when most people ponder about nihilism, they do it in a very depressing way. But nothing is nothing...and I think in a philosophical sense it might actually be the highest form of Good.

    Not only does life not have any meaning- but life is destined to end. And I think that is beautiful. You don't need to pretend to go to heaven where everything is perfect, it is make-believe and you are in a big shock when you just die and there is nothing left. Also the gay people you don't like won't go to hell forever either, sorry. But that nothing is ultimate freedom. NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING. Santa Claus isn't real, but as a kid he still inspired me... Merry Christmas. I wish you a very Nothing New Year.

This viewpoint has really helped me overcome nihilism. Gazing into the abyss (and it gazing into you) is not so good if you want to be happy. At least for me anyways.
    my truth of being, existence etc. comes through doing what is most rational: I don't think that is a leap of faith, and I believe I act the same regardless of whether or not an afterlife exists.

    Societies that are more religious than average are actually more vengeful and violent on average.

    Because people who are already violent find strong justification in the ideology of religion.

    "Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion." ~ Steven Weinberg

    All I know is this; if there is a hell, it is here on this plane. What goes around, comes around.

    The issue here is that nihilism has a major internal consistency problem. If there's no reason for anything, there's no reason to get out of bed, or to stay in bed, or really to do anything (or not do anything). There's not even a reason to be a nihilist! To be able to function as a human being, you have to have some value system, whatever that is. Hedonism works, survivalism works, you don't need some Grand Cosmic Purpose, but I don't think anyone really lives with no values.

    "For Behold, I create new heavens and a new earth;
    And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.
    ...
    They shall build houses and inhabit them;
    They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
    They shall not build and another inhabit;
    They shall not plant and another eat;
    For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people,
    And My elect shall long enjoy the works of their hands.
    They shall not labor in vain,
    Nor bring forth children for trouble;
    For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the LORD,
    And their offspring with them."
    -Isaiah 65:17, 21-23

    When God made us in Hänen image, Hän made us creators. An eternal afterlife won't be a drag, but a joy, if we are able to utilize our creativity in good health and without the taint of greed or selfishness, not to mention the constant company of the beloved Light of the World.

    No such thing exists. When your brain dies, your consciousness dies with it. However, there's no reason to fear death. Once you die, you'll no longer have the consciousness necessary to grieve the fact that you're dead. You were perfectly content with not existing before you were born, and you'll be perfectly content with not existing for the eternity after you die.

    That's a very certain pronouncement. I'd have to say I wasn't content not existing before I was born, I was on another cycle of the Eternal Return enjoying the endless struggle of life. Prove me wrong if ye dare.

    Because I am IEI, after my death my soul will light up in a fire of eternal bliss as it exists my body, drifting into the ether, circling around the vibrational cords of everyone I have ever loved for a moment lasting seconds or years, and after a journey of travelling through eons of time my soul will become one with the grand universe and whatever undetectable force is making it pulsate and brim with life.

    Consciousness ends when my brain tissue stops metabolizing and dies. My body will decompose and the atoms that composed it will become part of some other living systems, but mostly they will just feed the entropy beast.
    Important to note! People who share "indentical" socionics TIMs won't necessarily appear to be very similar, since they have have different backgrounds, experiences, capabilities, genetics, as well as different types in other typological systems (enneagram, instinctual variants, etc.) all of which also have a sway on compatibility and identification. Thus, Socionics type "identicals" won't necessarily be identical i.e. highly similar to each other, and not all people of "dual" types will seem interesting, attractive and appealing to each other.
