Apps: Too many to count.
Apps used regularly: Art Rage, Manga Rock, Udemy.
I try not to use the phone unless it's for something constructive. I usually don't email or text. I mostly use email for online shopping when I have to contact a seller or store. I'll also use email for online classes I take. I've had too many bad experiences where important people would rage text me or get depressed via text but never actually talk to me about it and the problem would only get worse because they wouldn't hear what I was saying anymore through text. If I have a partner I will text for times we can talk... And maybe text ideas of things I'd like to talk about when we talk so I don't forget what I was going to talk about... Because I want to talk openly and honestly with a partner.
1. I use as needed, which is usually when I have nothing else to do and have no access to my computer. I use it maybe twice if on the weekends, but during school days I might end up using it for 4+ hours
2. Default apps + Tumblr, Skype, Discord, Steam, Pokemon Go, and various browsers
3. Uuhhhh Firefox? >_> If that doesn't count then reddit
i think im too lazy to find apps that might be negligibly more useful than whatever it would be replacing, and I'm against phone entertainment so I don't even bother to look at the games in the app store
I'm a sucker for tactical RPG's and reading manga on my phone too ._.;;; It is also my mp3 player. I use it for most things to avoid needing other devices like music players and stuff. I download my manga on Manga Rock because I don't have space for a manga collection right now.
Then there's stuff like Final Fantasy Tactics, Shadowrun Tactical RPG's, Spectral Souls, etc, if I'm idling and need to test my brain I'll load those games on the phone.
I mostly use the phone for not phone talking related things... So I guess I do check the phone often because I'm catching up on my manga, music, and games.

I use it a lot for work.
Lately I can't stand it anymore, smartphones are a nightmare for work, everyone expects you to reply to every e-mail in 2-3 minutes.
Obsequium amicos, veritas odium parit
1. No idea
2. Maybe 6
3. Clash of clans, snapchat, shazam
1. A few minutes a week. For years I have used a prepaid service ($140/yr max), non-data phone. I kept getting lost when traveling to new places, so I decided to go with a smartish phone under a similar plan, so I could access a map/GPS. I get 1gb/yr. I use the phone to text my daughter and R, and a couple of neighbors to see if they wanna walk w me. One neighbor calls my cell phone instead of my house phone, grr. My previous phone signaled every minute if I had an unread txt. But this one doesn't, so I often forget to check for texts.
2&3. It came w google stuff on it. And i downloaded a couple of maps. I still have to learn how to use them w GPS w/o using data. I also downloaded an N-back game, for when I need to get some mental focus.

Lichess also stole my soul... Along with the phone... Or maybe the computer did first...
I'm playing Record Keeper again, so I'm using my phone quite a bit for gaming... It is good filler to keep my mind from drifting. I am pleased with my team they all have good limit breaks. Especially Zidane. I got real lucky with him. He must be my Final Fantasy spirit animal. =P =P

I use my smartphone for business. Mainly it enables me to keep in touch with people wherever I am, and the GPS service helps to keep me from getting lost in strange places. It alone paid for the phone several times over. I also check my email and visit this site on it.
I have zero apps that weren't supplied with the phone. I've never seen the point of most apps, although a guy showed me one which shows the location of speed traps. I thought that would be useful, but my present phone (an iPhone 3G - I was an early adopter, and have the unlimited data for life deal) is probably too stupid to alert me in real time to them. I'm planning to upgrade to an iPhone 7 sometime.
The top three uses for the phone are: 1. Talking, 2. internet access, and 3. GPS device.
I have a lvl 80 Vivi too so I put him as my mage (replaced Krile) since Reddit says he has best spell power. Amarant is still my best character though despite being under levelled. He's a grappler with dragon claws because he is a dragon. Muwahaha. HE OBLIVERATES ALL.
Back on topic I use my phone for Reddit a lot too. And Freelancer app.
