I'm always curious to know what others think that my type is, so I answered these questions in hopes that I could get some opinions. Feel free to ask questions if you need more information.
Personal concepts
1. What is beauty? What is love?
I feel that beauty is if it has to be limited to one thing, self expression. Thoughit is in the eye of the beholder.
Love is possessing feelings for someone that far surpass those of friendship.
2. What are your most important values?
My most important values are tact and respect.
3. Do you have any sort of spiritual/religious beliefs, and why do you hold (or don't) those beliefs in the first place?
I don't have any religious beliefs. My reasoningis simply that I don't feel a connection to any religion.
4. Opinion on war and militaries? What is power to you?
My opinion is war and militaries is that they are pointless. Of course militaries exist likely for protection, but I don't feel that conflict at the level of war is necessary. I wish things could be discussed civilly, instead of being dealt with so harshly.
Power, to me, is merely something that people use as an excuse to feel superior to others. I feel that everyone is equal and should treat each other as such.
Interests
5. What have you had long conversations about? What are your interests? Why?
Emotions, the life stories of others. I have a great interest in learningabout other people and wish I could hear people talk about themselves more.
My interests include listening to the life stories of others, helping others and songwriting.
6. Interested in health/medicine as a conversation topic? Are you focused on your body?
I'm interesting in anything as a conversational topic, really. I'm happy to discuss anything. I'm not very focused on my body, as my focus tends to be mostly on other people.
7. What do you think of daily chores?
I think that they're okay. I would much rather be doing other things, but sometimes they're necessary.
8. Books or films you liked? Recently read/watched or otherwise. Examples welcome.
Night Of The Living Dead, The Shining, The Cabin In The Woods, 28 Days Later, Saw, The Exorcist, Blades Of Glory. There are a lot more, of course, but the ones I listed are ones that come to mind.
9. What has made you cry? What has made you smile? Why?
Seeing others being treated badly has made me cry. A lot of things make me cry, honestly. Why? Because I'm awfully sensitive, I suppose, though I've heard I give off an emotionless expression a good majority of the time.
The success of other people makes me smile. Knowing that I was able to help someone is another thing. Why? Because I can't help but be happy when someone else is happy and helping others feel right to me.
10. Where do you feel: at one with the environment/a sense of belonging?
In a place where my contributions are appreciating and I can be of use to someone.
Evaluation & Behaviour
11. What have people seen as your weaknesses? What do you dislike about yourself?
My sensitivity, my willingness to think of other people before myself.
I dislike that others can see things in me that I can't seem to. (My strengths).
12. What have people seen as your strengths? What do you like about yourself?
People seem to say my strengths are that I'm kind and that I make an attempt to understand/help other people whenever I can.
I'm not really sure what I like about myself.
13. In what areasof your life would you like help?
In areas involving motivation. I'm motivated when it involves helping others, but not myself.
14. Ever feel stuck in a rut? If yes, describe the causes and your reaction to it.
I have moments where I move from my kind demeanour into a per say volatile state of emotion. When this happens, I make an attempt to distance myself from others in an attempt to avoid hurting them with my unintentionally cold reactions/judgments. When in this state of mind, I tend to overthink a lot and find irrational explanations to things that I know are wrong if I was thinking clearly.
People & Interactions
15. What qualities do you most like and dislike in other people? What types do you get along with?
I most like when other people are kind, empathetic and understanding. I get along with all kinds of people.
I dislike most when other people are conflictual, constantly express anger openly and think that disrespecting others is okay.
16. How do you feel about romance/sex? What qualities do you want in a partner?
I feel that both are important, with romance being more important.
My ideal partner would be someone who is logical/emotional and understanding of both sides.
17. If you were to raise a child, what would be your main concerns, what measures would you take, and why?
My main concerns would be that they knew how important it is to respect others. I would make sure to be open to their opinions and points of view and to help them go in whatever direction their heart desires.
18. A friend makes a claim that clashes with your current beliefs. What is your inward and outward reaction?
My inward reaction is "Hmm, that's an interesting point of view. I'll have to think on that more."
My outward reaction is to acknowledge that their point of view as valid and to respectfully state why and how I disagree, as to avoid conflict.
19. Describe your relationship to society. How do you see people as a whole? What do you consider a prevalent social problem? Name one.
My relationship to society is one of curiosity. I see people as a whole as each being unique individuals who have something to contribute and are equally deserving of admiration.
I consider racism and sexism to be a prevalent social problem, because they contribute to unnecessary hatred and discrimination.
20. How do you choose your friends and how do you behave around them?
I don't really choose them, per say. I simplytalk to almost everyone I meet, or at least say "Hello" and offer them a compliment on something I like about them and if the conversation progresses and a connection is there, generally a friendship results from that. However, I have a lot of people I would consider friends who wouldn't consider me friends, because I sincerely care about everyone I meet.
I behave kindly and respectfully around them. I make jokes and make sure they know they're appreciated by me.
21. How do you behave around strangers?
Kindly and respectfully.
