Elizabeth Holmes

Ne gone really wrong. I haven’t read myself through everything on the internet, but I think it‘s an example how important the other side is. How important sth. like Si as a grounding force is (‚work on your skills, take your time, ground your ideas into sth. tangible, when you have to work with the everyday conditions, it’ll take time, there are limitations and restricitons to it/things you cannot foresee in your ‚imagination‘, where everything might feel like boundless, don't let yourself get too carried away in your head, you cannot build eveyrthing that you imagine in one day, you’ll need to make it step by step, day by day – I mean I’m aware that this makes Ne sound a bit over the top ‚imaginative, groundless‘ but what I mean is, that the Ne/Si balance is for me this, one thing grounds the other, one thing expands the other). Not to forget also the act of actually verifying whatever she envisioned. An example how sensing can be the defining factor. Would she have been able to ground her grandiose idea into sth. real, she would have been hailed by all as a genius. She wasn’t, now it’s a crank story for Hollywood. http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/06/jennifer-lawrence-will-star-as-elizabeth-holmes-in-a-movie-about-theranos
The whole thing is extroverted vision for me – expanding, going beyond the possibilities/boundaries of everyday life, bettering everyday life with it. Very object tied. Honestly a lot of her quotes could be read as Ne tuned to the maxxxx. The inward intuition would have been more difficult to access. When crank more like Nietzsche crank. More cut off from the external. She wasn’t, she was totally immersed in it.
(note: there if there is also another dimension that I haven't covered (well a lot probably) with this, like why? why was she so forward, like she just outright lied into peoples faces and covered up stuff, like not explaining how it worked, never putting things on the table, it was all just an eloborate sham)
(note: yes I’m aware of the irony of having this pseudo scientific system and explaining things with it, unfortunate, that you cannot make much cash with it)

I always thought of Elizabeth Holmes as IEI masking as an SEI. Since IEIs are often very good at impersonating other types, it can be a bit complicated to type them. Her autocratic leadership style definitely strikes me as beta, and her ex-partner Sunny Balwani was an obvious SLE. I also think it's quite stereotypical for IEIs to marry rich old dudes while they are still young. She's an extremely smooth talker, so Fe-ego definitely works. I don't think she comes across as an extraverted intuitive, since she sounded very Te-polr. She completely ignores objective facts, and statistics, and firmly believes in her personal logic (Ti-HA). The fact that Elizabeth managed to survive for such a long time, means that her Ni is quite decent, but it seems somewhat overshadowed by her Ti mobilizing.
I can see her as an unhealthy SEI with overblown Ne, however, IEI just seem like a better typing.
