    Default Chris Hemsworth

    quotes:

“I feel like I’m ready for any dangerous situation that might come my way, provided I have a hammer on me.”

“I have sporadic OCD cleaning moments around the house. But then I get lazy and I’m cured. It’s a very inconsistent personality trait.”

“People who put themselves on the line and sacrifice their own safety for the greater good and for others, and anyone in any profession whose concern is the welfare for other people instead of the individual, are inspiring and important.”

“For me, life is about experience and being a good person.”

“The more conflict and contrast you have with a character makes it more interesting.”

“As a kid, you run around the house pretending to be a superhero, and now to be doing it as a job, I feel very lucky.”

“Growing up, my parents were my heroes, in the way they conducted their lives.”

“You can imagine how the kids teased me, with a name like Chris Hemsworth. ‘Kiss Ham’sWart’-that’s what they called me. Meaning if there was a piece of ham with an ugly wart on it, I was such a loser I’d probably kiss it. It was endless.”

“I hadn't read comics really before coming in to shooting the original 'Thor.' During that and beforehand, I read stacks and got my head around it all. We reference, especially when we were putting the script together before we started shooting, other stories.”

Very jovial, keeps everything lighthearted. Smooth and benevolent, expresses his emotional state with ease. Practical, pacifying. Doesn't demand, describes sensory things in detail. Google it, he has the most unobtrusive style: snug shirts and jackets, but low-key stylish. Color palette: grey, white, black, blue, brown. Kind of fits in everywhere. Fidgety, has that Fe eye sparkle. Says he has some compulsive cleaning moments until he gets lazy. So many dad jokes ohhh dear. States that the Thor costume is totally uncomfortable, but it looks good, so he's okay with it. Flexible, not very distant. Responds well to Ne shenanigans. Devoted family man. Zero intimidation powers (unless he wields some medieval prop, but even then he's just a puppy). Cooperative.

"Go for it, you can always come home and sleep on the couch"

@Anglas that's a matter of perspective, I think he's adorable. And how is our quadra not creepy

    Gotcha
Ironically, his personality is the exact opposite of creepy

And man... I just realized it - he's your conflictor, that's why!!
Lessons learned: Even comments like "he looks creepy" are useful

@Chae, I've always typed him as Alpha SF too, just wasn't sure between ESE or SEI. Good observations.

    SLI or SEI
    -
    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

The toughest subtype of LSI. UPDATE: TYPE SOON AFTER CORRECTED TO ESI

He's like one of my ex-bf's who I had to get a restraining order against after our break up because he caused so much chaos in anger for losing me. It got scary. He created too much drama and conflict with others who interacted with me. Fortunately when I broke up with my LSI fiance of a different subtype than him I only got pure anger from him. No retaliations. So not all LSIs are all-bad. I prefer civil breakups and remaining friends however.

I would never want to date outside my Quadra again.

I was luckier with the two LSI's I dated.

I also will no longer date outside my quadra. I'd add I'm limiting myself to only dating ESI's from now on, but the female LIE that I know is occasionally hot, so I'm never going to say never.

When I look back over the years I can see how I made too many concessions to have long-term relationships with people outside my Quadra who really just wanted the relationship. Meanwhile most in my Quadra were unnecessarily stuck in the friend zone and were always waiting for me to be available than for them to be assertive like I was expecting. My natural tendency to be emotionally assertive was a tendency I unlearned at an early age to my detriment. One rejection lead to me permanently adjusting my behavior in high school onward. But my Quadra members needed me to be ME - not adjusted . Ok let's see how else can we derail this thread heh!!

@Adam Strange you surprise me because I never have and could never see myself dating my Illusionary partner. We don't get along well enough to get that close (nor Contrary relations either). Did you see the ESIs I've been posting in Gamma? I base them off known quasi-Identical relations I have had and tried to include VI poses where possible. I hope it helps you with your studies. If you decide to come to Alpha just let me know and I will think only highly of you still as typing is actually difficult and still an early science.

@vesstheastralsilky, as a Caregiver SEI, you aren't sexually compatible with your Mirage partner, the Aggressor SLE. As a Victim LIE, I'm very sexually compatible with my Mirage partner, the Aggressor LSI. Getting close to them is like falling into bed. It is scary easy.
To better understand my perspective, you might consider how you feel about your Semi-Dual, the Infantile IEE.

Personally, my understanding of Socionics is not good enough to understand why a person is a Mirage vs a Semi-dual. I think of Mirage as a "Private Semi-dual", and a Semi-dual as a "Public Semi-dual". But that's just me. I'm sure there are better reasons for the designations than how I feel about a person.

I've seen them and I agree with most of them.

I actually see a lot of ESI's every week. Some of them find me attractive, some of them pointedly ignore me. I'm slowly moving toward a solution on this.

At lunch on Friday, the SEE didn't make it to work, so I was alone and forlorn so I had to sit at a table next to this active and attractive female who looked ESI to me. Her voice cadences seemed ESI, her dress seemed ESI, and she had this physicality and beauty to her that seemed ESI. However, she was talking animatedly to her companions (a female LSI and a male ??EIE??ILE?? - I couldn't make him out) and her phone had a bright red cover (Si - ESI's tend to prefer pastels). As I studied her face, it became clearer to me that she was more likely SEI. So I'm getting better at this VI business, slowly.

Thanks, vess. I appreciate the offer. But I'm pretty sure that you are SEI and I am LIE and, while I can (and do!) admire your intelligence and your Si and Fe, I'm not really able to jump ship. I'm stuck with being LIE and having ESI's for duals. Lol.

I am keeping an eye out for prospective ILE's for you. Unfortunately, the best prospect so far is married, the second best prospect is 39 and says he doesn't date older women (the fool!) and the third prospect is an economic basket case with misogyny issues. However, I'm still looking. If I find one, I'll let you know.

    SLE-Se 8w7 sx/so

he is married to Elsa Pataky who is an ESI-Fi 2w3 sx/so, so they are duals by enneagram and instinct stackings, yet supervision by socionics

supervision marriage is kind of glowing in this vid:

can almost tell you guys who have been there - there is a weird fixation that happens when the man is the supervisee

I've watched this happen between an LIE housemate and her IEI boyfriend

but it's almost like this prior fixation is hampering these dudes in forming other relationships, like a mirage-paradise lost that they can't let go

Lol. I could see that. Partnering with someone who easily does, and supplies you with, the thing that you know you suck at most, gets your attention. It's like you have this vast area of weakness, and this other person just shows up and covers it.

What struck me about Helmsworth's Supervision is that he constantly said that he loved his wife and there was no other who was even close. He also said she beat him up a lot. THIS, my friends, is Supervision. The Supervisee can have a need for someone who covers their weak points be so great that they dare not criticize their Supervisor, while at the same time understanding that the Supervisor feels scorn for them. The Supervisor looks at the Supervisee and asks themselves, "Why can't this person do this simple thing? Are they just a screw-up who constantly makes bad decisions, or what?"

I'm still attracted to SLI's in an intellectual way, but one thing is certain; I'm not going back into another relationship with one.

As a side note, the biggest problem in my life right now is figuring out exactly what I need and why I might need it, and trying to determine if what I need and want is healthy.

    Omg. I'm not sure.

I get that he's handsome but he's kind of... dull? He's charming too. I just zone out on what he's saying.

FWIW I think a mix of Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston might be hot.

I see what you mean by dull and I think its great. Its normal people dull, not bright flashy smilee American. Dullness might be because of lacking mental functions, so a bit 'short'. I don't think he is dumb, just maybe SEE-Se.

Still, I know this type of person and I've had a long term with them before and that time together changed me for the rest of my life.

I don't mean to be rude or prying, but are you a straight woman or gay? You can ignore my question if you want. I'm sorry if it seems overly personal, but we've interacted before and I'm just curious.

I don't like bright and flashy either but I'm just not interested in the content of what he's saying. Lots of girls love him though.

    I don't think he's dumb.

As he plays a hero in teenager movies and has good appearance as most actors.

As today culture mostly associates intelligent with NT, so SF types may give such impression more than other types. Earthy and not good in logics. Meanwhile some of them may to have high IQ and solve good complex tasks.

He is a bit dumb in a sense. People smart. Not a lot of content in what he is saying either, I think its because content is not his 'product'.
