7's, 8's and 9's also lie a lot. In fact every type lies, just for different reasons. The best liars? Maybe 3 and 9.

I would never tell a lie. Often, it is necessary to distort the truth. I would probably tell the truth if it was in my interest to do so.

Well, any type can lie or tell the truth but the general tendencies I see are:

Type 1- Tend not to be liars as it compromises their moral integrity.
Type 2- May lie to spare someone elses feelings and have the person like them.
Type 3- May lie to make themselves look more successful and better than they are.
Type 4- Tend not to lie as it compromises their personal authenticity.
Type 5- Tend not to life as it compromises their need for logical accuracy.
Type 6- May vacillate between being truthful and stretching things a bit. Have anxiety about this.
Type 7- May lie to avoid getting into trouble or compromising their freedom.
Type 8- Tend to be truth tellers and bluntly tell the truth, even when a white lie would be better.
Type 9- May lie to avoid conflict with others and preserve their inner peace.

To others. Lying to oneself is rather a question of denial I think, that's worth another thread.

Now, I tried to rank the types. It depends on strength of conviction. The type that doesn't think that they are lying is the best. Hence:

Best 2>9>3>6>4>5>7>8>1 Worst

2 has the strongest positive, external conviction: "I love them, how could I not tell the truth"
1 has the strongest negative, internal conviction: "My conscience tells me not to lie."
