Fi (internal statics of fields) is responsible for understanding the quality, nature, and proper maintenance of personal relations; makes moral judgments; and aspires to humanism and kindness. Fi has a strong understanding of the social hierarchy and how people feel about each other, their attitudes of like or dislike, enthrallment or disgust, repulsion or attraction, enmity or friendship.

    ------

    dmPFC:

"The most dorsal part of medial frontal cortex—the dmPFC—may have a specialized role in encoding key features of the structure of the social environment and the position of the decision maker within this social environment."

"In addition, we also expected that empathy for social exclusion would engage neural regions supporting mentalizing processes (e.g., DMPFC)."

"Observing exclusion (vs. inclusion) activated regions associated with mentalizing (dorsomedial prefrontal cortex, medial prefrontal cortex, precuneus), and highly empathic individuals activated both mentalizing regions and social pain-related regions (anterior insula, dorsal anterior cingulate cortex). Additionally, the empathy-related activity in the anterior insula and medial prefrontal cortex was associated with later prosocial behavior toward the victim, and exploratory mediation analyses indicated that medial prefrontal cortex activity, in particular, may support the link between trait empathy and prosocial behavior. Overall, findings suggest that empathy-related neural responses to social experiences may promote spontaneous prosocial treatment of those in need."

ILI is usually not aware of NeTi and consequently he/she is less annoyed by SeTi than SiTe.

Another feature of the function 7 - is that it caters for individual needs of a person. For the most part everything that is happening in the ID super block - serves only to your personal needs. This logic (ethics, comfort etc.) is just for yourself and no one else. When it comes to the ID functions the social attitude could be described as: "let me live and express myself the way I like, the way which is convenient for me." And if suddenly the function 7 receives information that is not consistent with the individual understanding of a person, it can be annoying. The function 7 has no claims towards the society at least as long as the society does not contradict to the person's individual programs. These programs had been accumulating in the early childhood, they are quite familiar and handle life situations rather well. But they are viscerally individual.

    [...]

Because the function 7 is a vital track function, the verbal information that is coming from this function does not sound as thoughts (like mental track information would sound) but sounds rather like remembering of what usually happens.

The first definitive evidence of PFS appears in the archeological record around 65,000 to 40,000 and it emerges simultaneously in several modalities: 1) composite figurative arts, 2) manufacturing of multitude of new types of tools, 3) improvements in design and construction of living quarters, and 4) elaborate burials. Together with 5) fast colonization of the globe and migration to Australia (presumably by boats) at around 62,000 years ago and 6) demise of the Pleistocene megafauna (presumably with the aid of animal traps) the archeological evidence indicates the presence of PFS ability in hominins by about 65,000 years ago (ya).

    1. Composite figurative objects. Depiction of composite objects that don’t exist in nature provides an undeniable evidence of PFS. These composite objects such as the Lowenmensch (“lion-man”) sculpture from the caves of Lone valley in Germany (dated to 37,000 ya, Figure 11) must have been imagined by the artists by first mentally synthesizing parts of the man and beast together and then executing the product of this mental creation in ivory or other materials. The composite artworks such as lion-man from Germany, a bird-man from Lascaux, a lion-woman from Chauvet, and the engraving of a bird-horse-man from Hornos de la Peña provide a direct evidence that by 37,000 ya humans were capable of PFS.

If N means 'abstract' instead of 'imagination', then it is compatible with the model (16 types).

He does not come across as a dreamy/imaginative person, so LSI makes sense. However, LSI has +L.

    SSS:

+L — logicality, compliance with logicality in any details, strict logic, non-recognition of illogicality, orientation on clarification of details, aspiration to split up, detail, concretize. Concrete usage of rules, order, consistency (legislation, resolution, regulations, rules, instructions, etc.).

-L — illogicality and logicality, compliance with orderliness and logicality in the broad sense, lax logic; global, universal, abstract logic, general regularities.

"Perception by means of the unconscious" - Jung

Alternative c ; variation on a Jung theme : Epistemological perception that bring to conscious only the result of an unconscious complex chain of thought (based on associations) .

Alternative d : My take on Basic Socionics definition of Ni that has nothing to do with Jung's conceptualization of Ni

Information about (< btw all the definitions of socionics IEs should begin with these two words ! One word or two to explain a complex phenomenon is a nonsense imho !) the temporal relation between events past future conditional imagined or real . (events as anchors in any timeline that have or don't have an action on the course of events that comes or could come after (yes the potentiality of events is also of Ni not Ne in socionics !!) or had events happened differently how it would affect the course of the future events like for instance in Uchronia sci-fi books (e.g. Philip k.Dick 's 'The man in the high castle") and/or events that need to be happening before another chain of events take place.

Logical reasoning is directly related to Te and Ti. I used to think Te- was abductive reasoning and Ti- was inductive reasoning, but now I think abductive reasoning and inductive reasoning are included in both Te- and Ti-. It depends on how you define the functions (see post #1040).

    https://www.quora.com/What-is-it-lik...with-a-high-IQ

I am an ISTP with an IQ between 150–160. As a kid they attempted to skip me a grade each year. But, my mom wouldn't allow it. She would say that she did not want me picked on. I realized that she was worried about my twin being picked on for not being nearly as smart as myself.

My teachers loved me. Yet, they hated that I'd finish a project then help each student finish. Their planned curriculum never lasted as long as they intended it to. I remember in 3rd grade they decided to sit me in a corner with algebra after completing that particular curriculum. I was able to figure it out on my own AND it kept me busy. My teachers found a solution for a while.

My Grams was stunned that as a first grader I would watch jeopardy and answer multiple questions correctly. It was tough in school to not be academically challenged because it would leave me getting into trouble, too!

As a soldier (I repaired and maintained the Patriot system) I became bored. College did not present a challenge, either. I quickly master any job and become restless. I often find myself hating the fact I can figure out basically anything in short amounts of time. Also, I have to have friends that can challenge me intellectually and that's very difficult. I tend to latch on to those who can. Dating is also problematic for those reasons, too!

    ------

    1. Imagination is not directly related to abductive and inductive reasoning.

    2. Sd1 + Sd2

    3. Sd2/LII + DAN/VAN

    4. strength (mental capacity) ≠ preference

    https://creately.com/guides/divergen...gent-thinking/

Divergence and convergence are two opposing cognitive processes that play distinct roles in problem-solving and decision-making.

    Divergence

Divergent thinking is a creative process that helps generate a wide range of ideas or possibilities. It involves thinking broadly, exploring different angles, and coming up with multiple solutions to a problem. The main goal of divergent thinking is to promote creativity by allowing a free flow of thoughts without judgment or evaluation. In short, it’s about “thinking outside the box” and considering unconventional options.

    Convergence

Convergent thinking, on the other hand, is a focused and analytical process aimed at selecting the best solution or idea from a set of options. It involves carefully evaluating, comparing, and narrowing down choices to identify the most effective and practical solution to a problem. Convergent thinking is about making decisions and finding the most suitable answer based on specific criteria, often guided by logic, data, and established principles.

I think your typology needs this type of machine....

The return on investment might take a while though....

That would depend on how much you charge your clients for a proper typing....
