I just can't figure out what he is. ENFp? ISFp? I'm hoping he's ISTp, but that probably is not the case.

Hey Jewels. I would say hes definately not an ISTp sadly

He doesn't VI as one and his page talks about being fun etc. I would guess hes an ENFp. He said hes a nice guy.

Hey at least your bound for loads of fun

ISTp is the most maldescript type available. Just because he isn't a serial killer, or serious athelete or shut off stubborn introvert, or any of the other forum borne illnesses doesn't mean he isn't an ISTp. Type has nothing to do with the happiness of an individual.

I feel I need to quote him:
"Heroes: My dad. If you know him then you know what I mean. I do believe he is up for the coolest man of the year award again this year for the 26th year running. "

Not Neccessarily. He might be being totally honest. I agree that appearances can be decieving but i would eat my hat if he turned out ISTp

    Btw Heath,

In my original post i wasn't saying that ISTp's are not fun or that they are not nice guys. I can see how it might have been construed as such.

He is at least the following types:

    cute
    smart
    sweet

    I like him

It says "extraverted" but in these tests that usually just means "sociable" which a socionics introvert certainly can be. He's into sports and cars which are oftentimes (though not always and not exclusively) ISTp interests, so he *could* be ISTp. Dunno if he is. He could be a lot of types.

Is this someone you know IRL? If so I'd say definitely go for it regardless of what type he is! He looks like a catch!

heath, you can't assume that we don't know anything about people or socionics just because we did not mention the ISTp type for the guy.

For the record, I do not think that all ISTps are messed up, permanently depressed or anything like that (despite some jokes, again). Hey, my sister is one and she's not like that.

I said ISFp because he just reminds me of an ISFp friend. Nevertheless, this is not necessarily accurate. When I said "vibe" that should tell people whether or not to take it seriously. It's really up to them. I won't argue for a specific type just from looking over his profile. I can only go as far as making a guess.
yeah, I said that more as a "this will get their attention!" BAM. Now read my explanation.

Yeah, I think you guys are all onto something! He is a difficult one to type.

I agree that there is an ISFP vibe. I would like to pretend that there is an ISTP vibe...but I think I'm kidding myself a bit there. He seems very "F" to me.

I don't know him (yet) in real life. But I'm trying to decide if I should, since I decided on only dating ISTPs from now on. Though I know I'm being kinda silly...

If it goes anywhere, I'll let you all know what type he is. Then, I will most likely try to convince everyone that 1) ENFP and (whatever type he is) is perfect. And 2) I then will complain when it doesn't work me? bitter? nah.

I really appreciate all of your help!!!

Lol Jewels. I know exactly what you mean. I hear ISFps go well with ENFp so might be worth it. I would much rather be with a healthy ISFp than an unhealthy ISTp i suppose.

I would like to only date ISFp, ESTj and ISTp aswell but i dont really know any so its tough.

Thanks meatburger. I think I will give it a try. I'm sure you will meet some of the types you like soon! It's wierd how that happens, you know? Like just when you've given up, someone pops up.

    Default He is ISFp

He ended up being ISFp. I had him read the description and he said it sounded just like him.
