    I think it is glaringly obvious that this is biased towards ENTp/ILE relational perspective:

    1. Research relations.This group includes Identical, Mirror, Extinguishment and Quasi-identical relations. Their goal - to learn more about the world, its fundamental laws, and to learn more about oneself through comparison with others. Within these types of relations, ability to make comparisons, analyses, classifications, and to put forward advanced hypothesis markedly improves.-Describes the NT club
    2. Social relations.These relations include Duality, Activity, Super-ego, and Conflict. These relations are designed for fitting into society, creating a family, making a circle of friends, finding one's social group. These relations put a load on type's vital functions (positions 3, 4, 5, 6).- SF club
    3. Working relations.This group includes Semi-duality, Direct Request (benefit), Business (look-alike), and Reverse Supervision. Working relations create productive teams of co-workers and collaborators who share a common pragmatic goal and skillfully distribute responsibilities and assignments. Communication in these relations puts a load on instrumental functions - 2, 3, 5, 8 positions. - ST club
    4. Educational relations.This group encompasses Mirage, Reverse request (benefit), Kindred, and Direct Supervision relations. They face the issue of accessing the inner world of man, addressing one's moral inquiries and inner sentiments. These relations amplify the axial (evaluative) functions - 1, 4, 6, 7. In these relations the goal is personal growth, offset or strengthening the evaluative criteria of the world and one's place in it.- NF club

    dunno how this can biased towards ILE perspective if the author of this article is LII, and LIIs and ILEs think very differently

    imo this article has typical 'Gulenko' bias in that he tries to simplify down the material (intertype relations in this case) and in process makes it contradictory/inconsistent with his earlier work and never bothers to explain the discrepancies (like he did with DCNH). he claims that conflict relations see each other as supervisors, yet they have different cognitive styles, and the basis of supervision is that types in this type of relation have same cog-style, so conflict relations cannot be compared to supervision, each intertype relation is effectively unique

    Ne-LIIs with especially strong Ne are prone to doing this - treating information in a very coarse manner just so that they can move on to their next point of interest - kind of bugs me at times

    I meant that the description of each of the four groups correspond to the four clubs from an ENTp perspective:

    "1. Research relations.This group includes Identical (ILE), Mirror (LII), Extinguishment (ILI) and Quasi-identical (LIE) relations.     Heteroverted / Monoverted
    Heteroverted relations
    Duality, Semi-duality, Illusion, Extinguishment, Mirror, Conflict, Supervision
    One extravert, one introvert. More varied relationships where partners try to change each other and the relationship in a variety of ways.

    Monoverted relations
    Identity, Kindred, Business, Super-ego, Activity, Quasi-identity, Benefit
    Two extraverts or two introverts (i.e. leading functions are both extraverted or both introverted). Sense of level playing field and fair competition. Relationship revolves either around expansion and external business (two extraverts) or closes in on the relationship itself (two introverts).
    Energy-based / Information-based
    Energy-based relations
    Duality, Semi-duality, Illusion, Extinguishment, Activity, Quasi-identity, Benefit
    One static and one dynamic. Functions of one partner's mental loop correspond to functions of other partner's vital loop. More subconscious impact than exchange of verbalizable information. Termed "relations of attraction" by Augusta.

    Information-based relations
    Identity, Kindred, Business, Super-ego, Mirror, Conflict, Supervision
    Two statics or two dynamics. Functions of each partner's mental loop correspond to those of other partner's mental loop, and likewise for vital loop. More interchange of conscious, verbalizable information than subconscious impact. Termed "relations of repulsion" by Augusta.
    Symmetric / Asymmetric
    Symmetric relations
    Identity, Kindred, Business, Super-ego, Duality, Semi-duality, Illusion, Extinguishment, Activity, Quasi-identity, Mirror, Conflict
    Partners' functions align with each other identically from both directions. Partners affect each other equally. Same or similar subjective experiences in relationship.

    Asymmetric relations
    Benefit, Supervision
    Each partner's functions align with the other partner's functions in a different way. Partners affect each other unequally. Different subjective experiences in relationship. One partner gets "short end of stick" and ends up under the other's influence while the other is largely unaware of his effect.
    Close / Large Psychological Distance
    Relations of close psychological distance
    Identity, Kindred, Business, Super-ego, Duality, Semi-duality, Illusion, Extinguishment
    Two rational or two irrational types. (i.e. leading functions are both rational or both irrational). Partners can lock into same rhythm for a substantial period of time, allowing for smaller psychological distance.

    Relations of large psychological distance
    Activity, Quasi-identity, Mirror, Conflict, Benefit, Supervision
    One rational and one irrational type. Partners have different rhythms, different moods, and different reactions in same situation. Occasional moments of resonance when rhythms and moods briefly coincide.
