Within the reality of the show, I meant moreso the elite being made accountable for their "sins" by a truly spiritual "caste" as much as anyone else. Without, in the context of GOT as an HBO show, I was considering it moreso as an attack on the rampant sexuality/perversion (the nudity and "porn" aspects) of earlier (and current) seasons, nicely framed by most of the worst of it (the over the top titties on screen time as well as the sparrows calling people out as boy fuckers and doing whatever he was about to do with that knife) taking place in Baelish's brothel.

and to head off the violence being immoral aspects that can be argued back, absolutely. But the difference being most previous violence of the show serves the elite in their power games, while the violence of the sparrows serves a spiritual ideal where all are equal in accountability.
yeah, but we also "got to see" cercei naked thanks to the sparrows. i guess i mean, where the rubber hits the road, the sparrows will feed into these elements of the show, rather than detracting from them. regardless of if they call out "immoral" things, they also will act against people who aren't really doing anything so terrible. they're just religious fanatics. it's like... we don't want people having sex, but we do want to strip people and march them through the streets so others can call them sexually-derogatory names and throw excrement and blood on them. i struggle to think that the head sparrow is full of the purest of intentions. he may be a "true believer," but he's probably a sick man.

hah. i probably think so. but some "heights" have been reached, with having a father burn his daughter to death; and having another child torture someone (albeit a terrible person) to death. i mean, at this point, i think i agree they want to keep pushing the envelope with the violence on purpose... because i don't know what else to think. but maybe, they'll surprise us all, and tone it down...

i don't know if it bothers me or not. there were a couple episodes with ramsey bolton that i just couldn't get out of my head for like a month, they were so awful. and there was the red wedding... and i know most of the characters are killers on the show...

but the plots... i find the plots really interesting...
