    I don't know why, either. Natural pigments were all that were available for most of mankind's history. The variety of blues and reds that we see today simply were not available to painters who restricted themselves to natural materials. In addition, a lot of those materials used for paints are toxic and/or chemically unstable, so they don't retain their colors.

    The woman in the video seems SEI-Si to me. She reminds me a bit of an ESI-Se artist I know, who is extremely interested in the sources of her art materials and in doing new things with her art which have meaning primarily to her. I'd say that both have 4.5D Si. (https://typevolution.com/2016/08/28/...hs-weaknesses/)

    Weirdly enough, I find the woman in the video strangely revolting, and the ESI artist strangely attractive. I have to look hard to see their differences. They could be twin sisters.

    haha its not the fact that she uses natural pigments, its just the whole vibe of the video and the way she's talking, the music she chose with her voice over, and the fact that she's filmed all of these clips of herself
