Do they knit, play bingo and do boring old people shit. Or are they edgy.

I like it when suedehead sublimates his frustration with being a boring empty limp non-Sexual first into such shit threads and tries to go contra-flow on the object of his high interest.

I think a fair number of the homeless people around town are likely sx-first. Probably the largest concentration of sx-types in any demographic I've known.
Haha! I love this thread so much.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't people with an open attitude towards lots of casual sex with no emotional attachment -- as in Hugh Heffner -- sx-last? I was under the impression that sx had a stronger intimate dimension.
Hugh Hefner is just an old 7, he's not sx first.
Hm, thanks. There are too many sources with so much contradictory information -- most of it subjective, at that -- that debating the enneagram feels like an excercise in futility. I got that tidbit from some official source, forget which. I've also read that sx types can be either very into casual sex or completely asexual, as long as they practice either with the same fanatical totality.
I think Bukowski (sx/sp) had casual sex, but in the books it's like he becomes sort of infatuated with them for a while and lives with them/spends most of his free time with them for a while. But he's talking about how they're a nice piece of ass, how their giant ass looks good in a miniskirt even though they're crazy, etc. He stayed with one girl for her inheritance.

So Sx-first is like that lusty, red-blooded grandpa that still thinks he's got it.
I looked around and saw that Hef was typed sp/sx on some sites. I was just thinking though, what can be more mergy than 50+ years of nonstop orgies. Like, really, it is hard to handle one intense girlfriend at a time, let alone 3-7. That is a lot of emotional ups and down to have to deal with every month for some casual sex, not to mention he was giving them all allowances too and paying most of their expenses.. The only good thing is that women who live together for awhile can synch up in cycles.
sx/sp
Expression: intense, self-absorbed expression
Energy: intense energy expressed calmly, steadily, assertively
Behavior: intense, assertive, troubled and self absorbed
Mindset: "If I can make (us) have an orderly & pleasing lifestyle, I can keep up and escalate all this merging/intensity."
Examples: Harlock (Arcadia of my Youth)
sp/sx
Expression: wistful self-absorbed expression, sighing, magic is in their head
Energy: calm, steady energy expressed intensely, withdrawing
Behavior: withdrawn, calm, wistful and self absorbed
Mindset: "I can have merging/intensity without having to leave my orderly & pleasing lifestyle." (imagination, safe people and relationships, when the safety of these are challenged they withdraw)
Examples: Alanis Morisette, Amelie (Amelie)
I can't imagine an sx last enjoying, or being able to keep up with this kind of lifestyle, and from what I have read he actually had strong emotional connections to many of these women. He just found it hard to stay in love with one woman at a time for too long. Probably looking for something more perfect and emotionally intense in each new woman.

ps. this is not an actual attempt to assign a stacking to dos equis man, as he doesn't really scream sx first to me (or does he?). he often seems to park himself at a table and the worshipers soon gather thanks to his alcohol charisma. but he's "lived the high life" and "done it all," including having been every stacking at one point or another.
