""Dogma"
All we want is a headrush
All we want is to get out of our skin for a while
We have nothing to lose because we don't have anything
Anything we want anyway...
We used to hate people
Now we just make fun of them
It's more effective that way
We don't live
We just scratch on day to day
With nothing but matchbooks and sarcasm in our pockets
And all we are waiting for is for something worth waiting for
Let's admit America gets the celebrities we deserve
Let's stop saying "Don't quote me" because if no one quotes you
You probably haven't said a thing worth saying
We need something to kill the pain of all that nothing inside
We all just want to die a little bit
We fear that pop-culture is the only culture we're ever going to have
We want to stop reading magazines
Stop watching T.V.
Stop caring about Hollywood
But we're addicted to the things we hate
We don't run Washington and no one really does
Ask not what you can do for your country
Ask what your country did to you
The only reason you're still alive is because someone
Has decided to let you live
We owe so much money we're not broke we're broken
We're so poor we can't even pay attention
So what do you want?
You want to be famous and rich and happy
But you're terrified you have nothing to offer this world
Nothing to say and no way to say it
But you can say it in three languages
You are more than the sum of what you consume
Desire is not an occupation
You are alternately thrilled and desperate
Skyhigh and fucked
Let's stop praying for someone to save us and start saving ourselves
Let's stop this and start over
Let's go out - let's keep going
This is your life - this is your fucking life
We need something to kill the pain of all that nothing inside
Quit whining you haven't done anything wrong because frankly
You haven't done much of anything
Someone's writing down your mistakes
Someone's documenting your downfall"
“My typology is . . . not in any sense to stick labels on people at first sight. It is not a physiognomy and not an anthropological system, but a critical psychology dealing with the organization and delimitation of psychic processes that can be shown to be typical.” —C.G. Jung

"Do you know what the scariest thing is? To not know your place in this world. To not know why you are here. That's...that's just an awful feeling."
im a four so/sp and to all the people saying so/sp's are inauthentic and dry... greaaaaaat thats just great I love that for me. but I get it can any other so/sp's relate to feeling really robotic and inhuman but at the same time more human than everyone else? like you have this really strong desire to connect and nurture, but it doesn't like come naturally to you. and the fact that groups are so easy and exciting and 1:1 can be so dull and awkward, it's such an uncomfortable thing to face.
to the person who said Anna kendrick was an so/sp, YES she so is.
Why do people post here only twice or thrice every other month? What's wrong with being ordinary (without the famous 'Sx')?

So/sp: no variation in energy, little impulsivity, personality is not determined by pulsions, but by social and material context(status, wealth, roles, relations and connections)
More on the so side of so/sp, with influence of the sx/so stacking: can be very smiley, airy, sometimes "aristocratic" energy
Georges Seurat, painter
Movies like "Knives out", movies by Wes Anderson
Series like Friends, Succession, Emily in Paris...
IRL, sororities, friends living in a flatshare together....
More on sp side of so/sp, influenced by sp/sx stacking: worry about the distribution of roles and maintenance of society, traditions, airy, sometimes "aristocratic" energy...
Danish movie Lykke Per, 2020
Political activists, "worry about the state of the earth", use the body as social monument: Greta Thunberg, feminist activists
Can be intellectuals, politicians, 'class conscious' people, example: J-P Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir, philosophers

At the edge between so/sp and sp/sx, but still directed by the social
Chinese artist Zhang Huan
During this period, Zhang was extremely poor and decided to move to a declining community of artists, known as Dashanzhuang at the time but later was renamed as East Village (after New York City’s East Village), which was located on the outskirts of Beijing.
It was in this place that Zhang began to use his own body and the bodies of his artist friends to create shows with few resources available for making art. The provocative “living sculptures” and other works of art by British artists Gilbert and George were inspiration to members of The Beijing’s East Village, [which we're left marginalized and "to rot" in a metaphorical sense]. In 1994 he made this performance called 12 square meters. In this work, carried out on June 2, 1994, Zhang smeared his naked body with fish oil and honey, and proceeded to sit motionless in a public bathroom for exactly one hour while insects crawled all over his body, even in his mouth and nose.
German Painter Otto Dix
Cineasts like Ingmar Bergmann (below "Playing chess with death", Movie the Seventh Seal), David Lynch, Christopher Nolan
Ruth Orkin - Hydrophysics (two friends: social bond)

So/sp songs don't necessary have to be 'bland', depending on the strength of the sx instinct. There is a focus on integrating society, "belonging", being "someone" through the sp instinct (materialism, traditions, etc...) So/sp song can be very wordy, and there can be something a bit critical, edgy, parodic.... contraflow.
Alpha songs:
Gamma song:
Delta song: (very visible sx-last btw)
Contraflow in general has activist energy
Unhealthy so-first for sure, but it feels more like so/sp drawing from sx/so as both are part of same flow as thinking becomes more erratic, while amounting to fulfilling soc need without risking self preservation given the anonymity and feeling the high intensity of emotions without the vulnerability associated with that intensity usually (sx)?
Could be sx/so if not for focus being on excluding yourself into an observer role where you enjoy what "great humans" do as lesser beings, that inferiority-superiority complex attached to entire song?
