i like it sofar, soup has not be a problem sofar as I don't like soup, but cheese fondue is a challenge. The amount will be reduced before the final update

One question- you're smiling in all the first photos. Why no smile with 7 week old face hugger beaver?

I am requesting smiley face beard photo.

Edit: p.s. can you make a little beard ponytail, or put in some bling yet, like a bead or paper clip?? Inquiring minds and all..
Hahaha I don't think I'll reach the length needed to be able to braid it properly. But if I do I'll upload an happy smiling beardbraid picture

Yeah I'm going tomorrow; both the haircut and the beard need some tender love and care (and it feels awesome to be shaved ^^ ) Hopefully after the cleaning up and trimming it will be more even. That will kinda be the the determining factor.

I love beards, but I think you've already reached and passed the length that suits your face. Anything heavier and your face will be bottom heavy, if that makes sense. Like, instead of looking into your eyes, people will be looking at your beard. I think week 3ish was a decent balance, enough to hide the paleness of chin and jaw and face length, allowing the eyes to pop out more.
Yeah I was thinking of making a sign with "my eyes are up there" and put it in my beard
im going to ask my barber for some advise concerning the optimum length and wait until after its cleaned up to decide what I'll do, right now I'm leaning towards much shorter than its now, but I'm happy that there is at least fur covering most of my face.

the final update might come this week rather than Monday, fresh from the barber really excited, last time they really improved the look.

Refi, you're starting to look like a pretentious nihilistic philosopher (aka IEI?). Unless that was the look you were going for, I agree with @Starfall above (but maybe with a bit more natural hair)

LSI's are usually conservative with their stache. Something more like this :

WEEK ehh 8.7 update in OP.

I'm not too happy with the trim the barber did this time, it's less even than after my first (different guy).

Also, i'm in class and bored as fuck and tired and depressed so the picture sucks, but I'm bored and need attention!

yeah, it was the same barbershop, just not the guy who i had last time, but i did note the difference. Not sure i actually CAN request a specific barber at this place, because it's like walk in and super crowded and...idk i could try.

Yeah, the new guy shaved lower down your cheeks. You could take a picture in with you, of the outcome you liked, and ask for that to be repeated.

I think it's a little full, makes your face look a little bottom-heavy, like "is there a fat boy lurking under there?" Otherwise, I think a beard suits you.

You can usually call to see if/when he is working that day. And even at walk-in places you can usually request to set an appt with a specific barber. The time will be approximate, like if it is set for 4:30 he might be with another customer, so you'd have to wait. It's worth at least a try.

Golden had a good idea, too.

I actually think he looks better with it (and I'm definitely not one of those women that thinks facial hair automatically makes guys look better).

I read an article that said that when shown photos of groups of men with varying styles of facial hair and asked which one was most attractive, most people said it was the one whose facial hair was most different from the rest of the group whether it was a full ass bike/mountain man beard or being totally clean shaven.

Okay, that took me by surprise! I like it. In Brooklyn, that wouldn't be so much Delta, here you have to look like a Victorian trades apprentice. More old-fashioned and messy.

Anything else in the offing? Tattoo? Piercings?

Thinking about tatoos yes. think i'm to scared to though and also it'd need to be in a spot that can be hidden when in business company (back, upper arms maybe). Not going to do the neck tattoo untill i'm filthy rich and never have to work anymore, cuz in holland tatoo's = unemployable lol.

What is a victorian trade apprentice?

Actually most of the people on my FB that have liked/commented on this new cut are beta's/alpha's. The one LSE that replied told me I looked like a german (not a compliment in this case, she meant the WW2 type lolol)

Victorian trades apprentice: I mean older boys, young men, working as apprentices in the Victorian era. Bc around here, the guys dress kind of like kids used to, but they have these huge beards too.

You're getting less Delta by the day.

Anecdotal evidence: I knew a Delta who was asked where he wanted to go to college, and he said, "I don't know. I guess someplace cold. I've got a lot of sweaters."

You don't like being able to see in the winter?

I'm Delta, and I do better in cold weather than hot, humid weather. I consider anything over 50 degrees to be T-shirt weather, and I didn't even own a scarf or long johns until I was in my late 20s even though I live in a cold climate.

I don't think it's type related. I think it's just my ancestry plus individual preference. I tend to run hot.
