    Default Home Made Salad Dressing

I use one part White Balsamic Vinegar (I never use the black stuff...too strong) and three parts olive oil, a few drops of lemon juice and a tiny bit of honey. I add a few drops of sesame seed oil if I want an asian flavor.

Another kind is I use peanut butter, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, and scallions to create a yummy asian dressing.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Oil and vinegar, salt and pepper and some chives.

The first vinigaigrette I've made was this one.

It's for meat... ^_^ I'm not sure about the recipe as the amount of vinagrette was maybe too much but it was good regardless.

I've also been making vinagrettes with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhenjiang_Vinegar, which is very similar to a balsamic. It's got a fairly unique flavor beyond that. I use it for any application that requires balsamic when I don't have it.

Black rice vinegar is quite tasty on it's own and people are know to use it as a drinking vinegar.
