    I got 46 too...

I don't like how they differntiated the 'negative emotions'.

Or maybe it's because I don't give a damn about specifying the difference between "contempt", "fear", "anger" and "disgust".
Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.

    Thought I'd do better.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Yeah, I thought I'd do better too.

And then third pic in I realized that these seem to be students who are giving what they think they express when they feel an emotion. A few of them you could actually....feel....the emotion radiate from them..but most of them weren't.

Yeah, I agree. Alot of them seemed to me like general "WTF?" expressions.

I object... those people were not really feeling those emotions. Also, there was no context given at all.

    That's an interesting thought.

For myself, my initial impressions of what someone is feeling falls into the attracted to/repulsed by dichotomy. That is the first thing that catches my attention. It's only after watching them to see what they are interacting with and how they are interacting with it that I can get a sense of further divisions. For example, joy is easy to distinguish from anger, surprise may or may not be easy to distinguish from joy/anger. And fear, anger, contempt, disgust...are all repulsed expressions.

However, as you said, this may speak about my own ranges of emotional expression.

Plus it is also easy to read people's expression when you are actually with them, and can read the rest of their body language and voice tones.

But it's not my fault! They were obviously faking it.

I saw contempt as anger, disgust and fear. (0 right)
I saw fear as disgust, surprise and contempt. (0 right)
9 pictures looked like disgust, and I still managed to get 2/4 disgust-questions wrong. I got 3/4 joy-questions right! yay!

YES! I seriously thought that they just repeated the same picture three times. Maybe I wouldn't mind so much if she weren't so ugly.
Lol, they all look like they need to get out in the sun more often.
