Would like to add:
lack of humor, eat lots of sausages and sauerkraut, German women have hairy armpits and legs, inflexible and pedantic, very direct, overly law-abiding (don't walk when the signal is red because "it is verboten"), tidy, punctual, hardworking, very tolerant about public nudity, drink lots of beer, know-it-all, always on the lookout to correct someone, penny-pinching/stingy, wear lederhosen, territorial (put towels on sunbeds then go and have breakfast or go shopping for 5 hours), cars are sacred to them so NEVER EVER lean against it.

"The spirit of resistance to government
is so valuable on certain occasions,
that I wish it to be always kept alive.
It will often be exercised when wrong
but better so than not to be exercised at all.
I like a little rebellion now and then.
It is like a storm in the atmosphere."

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
