You should take a look at it - feel free to use more left margin! Most of the options were right margin, and it bothered me. (I'm way too "rational" for a mixed style).
I liked the former Ej vs Ip question more. 2 words are better than one. I identified with "restless" more than with "proactive". (but the alternative choice "relaxed" isn't quite me either.)

I totally expected to not get this answer based on my selections. I'm rather impressed.
That faith makes blessed under certain circumstances, that blessedness does not make of a fixed idea a true idea, that faith moves no mountains but puts mountains where there are none: a quick walk through a madhouse enlightens one sufficiently about this. (A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything.) - Friedrich Nietzsche

i don't like these tests. i don't like how they treat both Fi and Fe as strong functions when, based on the input from the first page, they're clearly not. that question is virtually impossible to answer.
Pg 1: A1 B1 C2 D2
Pg 2: A2, B2, least difficult to answer: B
Pg 3: relaxed

The test, on the first page, does not ask you to choose between andOriginally Posted by niffweed17
On page 2, Question B, I think you chose the second description describing you better than the first one, and also this was easiest for you to answer. Is this correct?Originally Posted by oyburger

Oh I didn't realize that
I chose: I am focused on logical relationships between things. I create a system of rules, a system of ranking and organizing things. I make comparisons between things. I make decisions objectively, based on logic
I am focused on the potential/capability of people and things, which can be developed. I am focused on inherent possibilities
I am focused on facts (what, how, where), activities, step-by-step problem-solving procedures
I am focused on things (a pattern of events) that occur over a span of time. I have a sense of when things might happen.
pg2
I am focused on people’s moods, emotional activity, emotional arousability and emotional content
I am focused on the external traits of people and things: form, shape, strength, power
B was easier to answer
Then I put relaxed (at least when compared to proactive)

Thanks
Why did you say this:
I am focused on the external traits of people and things: form, shape, strength, power
describes you better than this:
I am focused on things that happen at a specific point in time. I am focused on my health, sensations and what I experience physically
Yes I believe so, though it may have to do with my training in art that makes easier. The reason I chose that one as the easiest is because I didn't relate to either option in A and so had a difficult time answering. But both B options could be applicable to me.Originally Posted by Hugo

But why did you choose B2 over B1 on page 2
This quality is more active on a conscious level due to years of training, looking at form and physical quality etc. I suppose B1 is more of a natural occurrence in my mind and B2 was a trait I honed and acquired. I should have probably chosen B1, but like I said B2 was more on a conscious level at the time.

Do you think the question should be phrased differently so that people don't make a mistake? If so, what should the question be?Originally Posted by oyburger
It seems to me that mine was an isolated incident (everyone else seems to be typing correctly) and I think it soley has to do with my personal experience.
When I think about: "I am focused on the external traits of people and things: form, shape, strength, power" I guess I ignore the power part (because it has no meaning for me) and imagine the aesthetic qualitites people and objects may have.
Like I said I think it was an isolated incident and I wouldn't worry to much. I think the wording is fine with what you were trying to convey.

@Oyburger
How about if I take out "form, shape" from this description:
I am focused on the external traits of people and things: form, shape, strength, power.
Would that help?
That would have definatly made me change my answer. I guess I was really only looking at form and shape. I couldn't care less about power or strength.

I'm impressed. I totally didn't expect it with the choices I picked.
EDIT: Could you get a second link for the fist test? I like that one as well.

Not bad from my perspective, but I'm not sure how suitable this would be for other types or if I'm qualified to judge since I'm just a Socionics novice.

Yeah, sorry, the test wasn't actually supposed to be uploaded yet. If you know any HTML/CSS, there seems to be a problem with aligning text to the left within a right-floating logical division.Originally Posted by Kristiina

I think because of my mode, I picked Intuition>Sensing in the first part. Happens sometimes, I oscillate between the two. I was just trying to be honest (as in, how I would answer if I knew nothing of socionics, etc...).Originally Posted by Hugo

This is better because the statements are shorter and more refined.
Page1: A1, B1, C1, D1
Page2: A1, B2 - B easier
Page1: relaxed
