Even if false reports were tripled or quadrupled, it's like a drop in the bucket, studies can be wrong but the margin for error isn't that much. There is multiple orders of magnitude difference between false reports and other metricx.

The biggest crisis of globalisation is that the idea is that by connecting countries then everyone in both countries will benefit.

But there is a good theory someone has made which classifies people into 4 groups and 'Value Adding' Categories

    a) Rich Country + Skilled
    b) Rich Country + Unskilled
    c) Poor Country + Skilled
    d) Poor Country + Unskilled

What they essentially equate is that before globalisation (b) fed value to (a), (d) fed value to (c) and the countries exchanged products.

Now we have a situation where (c) surplants (b) to generate value directly for (a) because it is cheaper while (d) is left behind and the value of (b) is reduced due to competition from (c) and as a result (a) becomes relatively scarcer due to the competition between (c) + (b) for (a) resulting in a flow of wealth towards them.

Well, one would assume that if a trial won't convict for rape 67% of the time: noting that under common law it's possible to convict because people think someone is guilty with circumstancial evidence; then they are by definition 'falsely accused' or as we used to call it 'not guilty'.

This would mean that 67% of 'unreport rapists' aren't rapists rather than the 1-2% indicated.

There's also a huge margin of error on 'unreported rapes'

There's a fundamental cherry picking logic failure in the graphic; of course all of the numbers except 'reported, not trialled, and guilty/not guilty' would appear to be non-statistics.

    I don't know.

I don't really think its right that people who have choosen to avoid the opportunities available to them to gain skills (notwithstanding the US with its outrageous lack of free education) really deserve to get a better settlement than people who put a lot of resources into gaining useful competencies in poorer countries simply because they once associated with the people who bore the dreadful and appauling opportunity costs of investing only their time in educating themselves.

Germany is the only country which has maintained a social focus on training people to take highly skilled well paid work in manufacturing - and it is social, not governmental, hands on work used to be for the plebes in the UK until plumbers were suddenly making 60k a year on a bad year - and because that dynamic of value to cost in Category B is right it is still a strong economy in a global marketplace.

I'd agree that people should be rewarded for their hard work, esp. those in poorer countries who have to work very hard to get even a fraction of what they deserve.

Oh, I didn't get the meme at first. I was like "People like actors more? No wait, I think that's Beckham".
    How colorblind of me, derp.

What comes to the American football player, I think it's pretty understandable that he got there due to the graphic video (and Goodell's actions). I don't know about the cases of others, though.

@Kim, I think I've missed something. What is that referring to specifically? The black guy is probably Mike Brown but who is the knife-wielder?
