Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?
I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

This thread makes my eyes bleed.
LIE > LSE > LSI. Logical subtype.

Sensor. Don't know abt I or E, F or P, seems more P. Probably Logical. So LSI, SLI, SLE,LSE. SEE I don't rule out.
The idea of SEE makes me laugh, and the eyes bleeding, thread of doom bs makes me smile... but that's the extent of my F (I figured if I posted a bunch of pics of my smiling there would be an immediate SF reply and it was spot on). I can pretty much confirm ENTj. I was between that and SLE.
Ah yeah, ENTj prob works.
I thought LSE.
We're overflowing with LIEs at the moment.

Yay, I guessed it right.

Most common E-types for an ENTj would be 7, 8 and possibly 9. Less common, and more suiting to the Ni-subtype would be 3 and 4. You appear (at least visually) more stiff and logical, so I would guess 7w8 over anything else.

If they fit well enough then you might as well sport both of them around town. A third or fourth type might also fit well enough for casual events and housework. You could even construct a Frankentype with favorite lines from whatever profiles and Model A descriptions/extrapolations you encounter, thereby breaking the 24 shackles of socionics and transcending this esoteric role playing game.
Read Jung.
This specific issue is one huge conflict I have with the SLEs in my old (predominantly Beta) drinking group that has heated up on several occasions when I've called them out on it. Shitty thing to do to someone, even if they are just an acquaintance.

OP, for the record, you look SLE to me in your front-on photo. It's not as distinct in your second photo.
Also consider Korpsy's musings, he has the right idea as far as how one should treat Socionics.
Yeah LSE or LIE. Dunno why I think that.
You remind me a bit of an LSE dude I know.
And I would hide my face in you and you would hide your face in me, and nobody would ever see us any more.
matt daemon lol, daemon is actually a philosophical concept and a major aspect to greek mythology
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daemon_...l_mythology%29
Daemons are good or benevolent nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves (see Plato's Symposium). Walter Burkert suggests that unlike the Judeo-Christian use of demon in a strictly malignant senseNone of this has to do with matt daemon other than his name kind sounds like it, but funny joke none the less.n Plato's Symposium, the priestess Diotima teaches Socrates that love is not a god, but rather a "great daemon" (202d). She goes on to explain that "everything daemonic is between divine and mortal" (202d–e), and she describes daemons as "interpreting and transporting human things to the gods and divine things to men; entreaties and sacrifices from below, and ordinances and requitals from above..." (202e).

Yes real psychology is more like
Imo than a simple description like 24. There is just so much complexity that is not captured by such a restrictive model, it needs to have more dynamics and flows and fractal based patterns. Restricting reality and subjugating it to a simple model can create unneccesary confusion when compared with empiricism and allowing paradigm shifts to happen naturally instead of resisting them.
Imo socionics is kind of like Newtonian physics, I'm kind of bored and waiting for things to get modern and start to consider more interesting systems.
I don't think people need to reject the type as a whole (because I think it can be a good average description over time), but under the surface of the type I think there are several dynamics in flow with each other. Functional interactions within the entity and functional interactions between entities, being exchanged. These are like the celestial bodies in the above photograph of the universe and each body or point may be a star from which planets, live and so forth can arise. These are like the "lifeforce" and ego of a being. The death and birth of stars are like the rise and fall of one's existence, and how this influences others is like how galaxies go through changes. Each era like a chord or diatonic mode being sounded in time, part of the entire composition of existence.
It's like the uncertainty principle, things are not simply just there... they flucuate and move with energy, as do I think the same about the ego of an individual.
maybe xsxj...?
Reasons why I thought SLE:
-Was really into extreme sports as a kid (skateboarding, snowboarding, motocross).
-Generally leave things until the last moment unless they are really important, but always get them done.
-Like working with my hands.
-Really good at talking my way into and out of situations.
-Have a ridiculous number of eclectic interests and hobbies.
-Innocent tendency to break rules (got title of most mischievous in highschool)
-Like to improvise.
-Love sensory experiences (going clubbing, good food, sex, etc.)
-Love travel.
Reasons why I think LIE:
-ALWAYS focused on future goals.
-Very career focused.
-Effortlessly do well in school.
-Enjoy talking about theoretical topics, especially if they can be applied.
-Always told that I act older than my real age.
-As a kid I was super eager to grow up (skipped a grade in elementary school, bought my first car when I was 14 etc.)
-I like to promote things but not nearly to the extent of the SLE's I know.
-Much cleaner and more on top of life issues than my SLE and ISTx roommates.
-Like to argue.
-Can be a perfectionist... I hold myself to a higher standard than I do everyone else.
-Even if I don't officially plan something out, I naturally form a gameplan in my head.
Things I'm not sure about:
-I can seem introverted in big groups unless I'm at the center of things.
-I can switch between really carefree/outgoing and really serious on a dime.
-Can be romantic, but not very good at long term relationships.
-Hate small talk, but am good at it when I need it.
-There is more, I'll think about it.

Have you looked into LSI at all? The reason I ask is that I've noticed from typings on Russian socionics forums that many LSIs initially end up vacillating between LIE and SLE typings, since LSI is like a hybrid of these two types but their profiles don't do this type justice and are not easily relatable.
If you read the static/dynamic section of this page, which one describes your perception better? (SLE/LSI would be static, LIE - dynamic)
