I was really unsure of how to answer this for awhile, but I'll give it a shot. I think I look at things differently than some people because I have a formal art education and have had to learn to see things differently then I would have otherwise.

For instance:"objects' traits, form, shape, appearance, and position." might be one of the first things I see because it's been drilled into my head. But usually only if it is incongruous or exceptionally beautiful (to my tastes).

After that my next reaction would be: "objects' inner content, structure, underlying phenomena, and inherent possibilities" what it is or isn't and motivation, always with the question "why?"
