Green Tea is my stimulant of choice most days. I like Japanese Sencha for the physiologic effects it has; focus and alertness with little anxiety. That's a generalized statement for sencha; they have a higher theanine to caffeine ratio than most black or green teas and thus don't give so much caffeine based anxiety. The two are synergistic in improving cognition. There are some black teas I particularly enjoy as well, the physiologic and psychologic effect differs with each one. I however hate most English breakfast teas because they have so much caffeine and low theanine. They make me irritable like coffee. Chinese teas seem to be of lower quality overall (particularly chinese green), just like chinese goods but great ones can also be found.
Perhaps you could use socionics to reccomend a tea based on temperament. Maybe EJ will love a higher caffeine like english breakfast. Or it could totally be caffeine tolerance and have nothing to do with it. However I'm on a socionics forum so whatever.
For a good and cheap japanese green tea I reccomend Ito En brand from costco. On the high end I enjoy Mellow Monk's tea. Loose leaf is king, an electric kettle and teapot/strainer is great for perfect temperature brews.
I try to drink green tea, but I don't know which kind is good for you and which kind is garbage. Anti-oxydants fight off free radicals, which is nice because free radicals reduce your life span.

I drink it as a substitute for black tea since it has less caffeine content and doesn't hype me up as much. I've tried gunpowder but didn't like the taste so I tend to stick with a few japanese brands. By far my favorite form of green tea is the ice cream form.
My favorite tea is peppermint -- if you brew it right there is still a lot of peppermint oil which on contact creates a cooling sensation, with hot tea a lot of this oil is evaporating and so when you drink it, it creates a cooling sensation throughout your mouth and to your stomach. I find it relaxing in a good way.
I also like spicy food, the spicier the better, at first it's a pain but eventually once you become acustomed to it is creates this sensation of being "on fire" and causes a sort of intense nerve stimulation and sensory overload that's pleasurable.
I haven't gotten as much into green tea because it doesn't really have that much of an effect on my system that I can tell and it tastes just "meh". Although perhaps I'm drinking it prepared the wrong way and at the wrong time so I can't appreciate it, I like Zen tea which is green tea with lemongrass and some other spices/herbs added as well -- mainly because the extra spices give it a good flavor and not because of the "Zen" label -- I've never really felt the supposed "calming" benefits of green tea.
Quinine is another thing which I can feel the effects of... the stuff they add in tonic water. It apparently originates from the bark of some tree in a tropical area. Large amount of quinine would be used in water to produce "tonics" which could relieve pain and treat the symptoms of malaria. It became popular as a cure with some white people. Natives had used the bark before as a "medicinal" substance. Sometimes quinine is toxic if too much is taken. At any rate drinking that stuff -- tonic water with quinine -- it's mildly stimulating in an odd way and has a unique taste to it. Tonic water though is usually weak in comparison to the "tonics" they used to use in the past to treat pain/malaria.
the only time i have green tea is when i go to arby's.
apparently Brisk or whoever has an awesome peach-flavored green tea that i love the shit out of.
I worked at coffee shops for a couple of years, IMO Genmaicha is the best green tea, it has much more flavor in general than others and doesn't need sugar or honey to have a distinct taste. I don't drink any caffeine anymore but that and Irish Breakfast with a little sugar were my favorites. Nowadays I drink generic decaf black tea.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
