I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

i think what this mostly tells me is that i don't like strongly voting "yes" on questions (it seems too committed and final; most of the time even when i agree with a statement i still think the phrasing is off, or some detail isn't quite right), so all the scores get subdued. or maybe that goes both ways. idk.

my guesses (before having taken it):
    openness: 66%
    conscientiousness: 20%
    extroversion: 10%
    agreeableness: 30%
    neuroticism: 20%

    pretty close, i guess.

I know Wikipedia is usually looked down upon, but I actually really like their Big Five page. It does a way better job than the results page in highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of both sides, where that test (IMO) presents one side as far more ideal and the other side as inferior. ("Open to New Experiences" vs "Closed Minded"? Really???)

i don't like all of these personal questions it asks. but at least they are optional, so result is pending.

I took my time with this. I'd expect higher on agreeableness. I usually score as primary inquisitive/open but scored as primary calm here (although I usually use the similar minds version). What was Gulenko's correlations again, @Elina?

I am highly open minded, over messy and pretty shy.
On the top of this I am not agreeable for a second and nervous as hell.
A pretty monstrous creature, to sum up

I would not say this is accurate.

I consider my Openness and Extroversion scores to be moderately higher plus I should be on the moderately high side for Agreeableness.

The test or your results? Do you know one you find better?

After I went back and looked at this thread I realized I actually read Elena's results as mine because I didn't close the tab immediately and lack of awareness on my part ensued. Either that or Elena and I are literally the same person personality-wise which I doubt a hell of a lot.

That being said; I am not entirely sure what my results actually were and don't feel the desire to take the test again at the moment.
