Alright, it seems like you guys are having problems with questions 8 and 9, since technically those questions are the ones that distinguish from between certain types, and some of you were real close.
If expat would have chose one answer diffrently, question number 8 ... he would have gotten ENTj, for example.

Your tests seem to be getting better at determining what type a person isn't.
That faith makes blessed under certain circumstances, that blessedness does not make of a fixed idea a true idea, that faith moves no mountains but puts mountains where there are none: a quick walk through a madhouse enlightens one sufficiently about this. Ah I see. Te vs Ti. Yes, I should have chosen Te perhaps.Originally Posted by rmcnew
By the way, I thought that your latest quadra-based test -- the last version of the one with the pictures - was very good. I have asked a friend of mine of whose type I am certain and who has no idea about socionics to take it, to see how it goes.

Actually, I think the question was T vs S, but I am not really sure now if what I wrote there is actually good enough to distinguish between the two function.Originally Posted by Expat

I took the test down ... apparently half of you have been getting somewhat accurate results, and half of you were not on account of one question that pops up only for about half of the people who take the test. I'll rewrite questions 8 and 9, and posts another tests later today possibly.
Rational vs Irrational? The questions seemed like N vs S to me at first. I can see how they might be R/I now, though.Originally Posted by rmcnew

too bad I couldn't even finish.
I have to admit, some of the questions were very confusing!
EIE, ENFj, intuitive subtype.
E3 (probably 3w4)
Cool ILI hubbys are better than LSIs any time!

The test is back up with the questions rewritten to be more clear!!!! I encourage everyone who wants to retake the test ... or to finish it...
how many questions is it now?

Got the same as last time.

It was pretty hard to answer some of the questions. For example, on questions 8 and 9, I would agree with some sentences, but disagree with others in the same paragraph.
i didnt see any difference in any of the questions.
and i still got ISTj.
It is still ten, but will be increasing to atleast twelve here in the next hour or two.Originally Posted by Joy

Rmcnew, while I admire your persistence and effort in making these tests, I think you will not be particularly successful until you clear up your prejudices about S vs. N.

What prejudices? ... the first 7 questions have nothing to do with SvN, if that is what you are thinking.Originally Posted by sarah
I wasn't referring to any questions in particular, just thinking of the tests in general and the recent discussion about S vs. N and induction vs. deduction. ( http://the16types.info/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4828 )Originally Posted by rmcnew
I think we just disagree, so it probably won't help to get into it---I was just offering my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt I guess.

Ohhh, yeah ... I experimented for a bit on that and discovered conflicting information on the issue. I am still running tests.Originally Posted by sarah

That looks like a bug ... I'll fix that right away.
I would appreciate it if you would post a link to the results, though.

It says in big letter at the top MULTIFACTOR ... so in other words it does mean something.Originally Posted by Dynamicism

I spent more time really thinking about each question... but it still didn't come out right. (I got INTj last time)

Regarding my type or your test? Maybe I'm in a funky mood.Originally Posted by rmcnew
No, it was just a personal note ... as far as getting INTj last time, it was because of the restrictive nature of that perticular test. I fixed that in this version.Originally Posted by April
