That means yes.
Only pleasent/harmless things or nothing. I can't derive joy or excitement from harming innocent people.
But I guess I could still stay there and watch what the people do. It seems as every interaction is part of the experiment, so not just between audience and artist, but also between the members of the audience. That could be useful if some were up to some sadistic shit (the example with the gun) and anyone else wouldn't care enough or would be too cowardly to actually interfere.
