The only healthy way to really up your appetite is to be really active. Are you doing any weight training with reasonably heavy weights? Don't worry -- as a girl, you don't have the requisite testosterone levels to bulk up like a dude. You can do the same stuff those meatheads at the gym do -- squats, bench press, etc. -- but with lighter weights. Also, running on an incline or cycling uphill is really good. Also swimming. The milk, protein shakes, etc. will basically just end up flushing right through you if they don't have muscle fiber to enter and repair. Also eggs are really good for gaining weight. They're cheap and pretty versatile.

I dunno, though... just try to eat clean and healthy. You'll naturally gain weight as you age. Rushing it along by eating McDonalds doesn't seem like a particularly good idea. Whatever you do, though, don't stress about it. Treat your body with respect -- it's the only one you've got until the day you die. Work with it, not against it. Trying to gain weight too fast by downing a lot of fat- and protein-laden crap will end with you developing more adipose cells, instead of muscle. These cells are permanent. Once you have them, they don't go away, even if you lose weight. They just shrink and empty of the fat they contain. This wouldn't be so much a problem except excess adipose cells make it much easier to gain fat and much harder to lose it down the road. The only way to get rid of them is via liposuction. So yeah... do it the healthy way: muscle > fat.

"How could we forget those ancient myths that stand at the beginning of all races, the myths about dragons that at the last moment are transformed into princesses? Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love."
